We officially have beef with this band

wish…i…had…
Being aware of our terrible band name affords us the unique position to tell other people just how much their band name sux.

oh hey so we're working on some things that you'll probably be able to hear soon, like THAT empty promise hasn't been made about twenty times on this blog before
Getting Better
Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the show on Friday at Sidewalk for part 1 of Boston Vs New York. We got to play with a bunch of really cool Boston acts we'd never heard of, and also shared the stage with good friends and fellow New Yorkers Dewey & The Decimals and Go Love (in their LAST SHOW EVER). It was awesome. We're definitely starting to feel really comfortable playing together now, with possibly our best performance and largest crowd yet. We've also decided to not play any shows for a while, in order to focus on writing new songs, adding members, recording, and generally becoming more of a unified entity. Hope y'all have a great rest of the year, and keep a lookout here or on our facebook page (or follow us on twitter if you're so inclined) in the next couple months for all sorts of new stuff.
Before I sign off for probably the rest of the year, I just wanted to let you guys know that WE LOVE YOU ALL. Seriously. Anyone who has come out to a show, listened to our shitty recordings on soundcloud or bandcamp, or even just said nice things to us from the bar after we finished (usually "Hey man, who's that girl singing? She's so cool!" so thanks Catherine), we sincerely love every single one of you.
Puddle jumper sucks don’t listen to them
it's true
I WAS supposed to be playing a super sweet halloween gig tomorrow and my set was gonna be at midnight, but now i can’t sing to people in my peter man costume and im very upset about. God damn storm.
preach.
this storm is a tragedy. the show was gonna change the world.
Would anyone get mad (or notice) if we became a post-punk band before we even recorded our psych-folk-rock album?
HALLOWEEN! FRIENDS! MUSIC! CANDY! COSTUMES!
Hey guys, it’s been a little while since we played music for you all. Next Monday, we’re changing that. We’re part of a great show at Goodbye Blue Monday in Brooklyn next Monday (10/29) to bring in Halloween/extend your Halloweekend. There will be costumes. There will be candy. There will be food and drinks. There will be music. Let’s party.
We’re playing with all of our friends (always the best kind of show) starting at 9 on Monday night. you’ve got:
Tamara Almai - Continuing her NYC takeover fresh on the heels of her Studio @ Webster gig. Brag about knowing her before she got famous.
Charles Mansfield - Haunting antifolk, but better than the seasonal “spooky” haunting.
Puddle Jumper - Reichel’s gang of psych-folks. May incite riots.
For Everest (that’s us) - The big band. But not like, “popular” big, just “a lot of people” big. Godawful puns guaranteed.
Kelly Montoya - Vlogger, Blogger, aspiring Logger. There’s nothing that Kelly can’t do 10x better than the rest of us.
Don’t sleep on this.

I checked the calendar, and there’s gonna be a full moon that night…
Are you becoming Dave Chapelle's Block Party?
Yes! Good catch, Anon.
