“Your future is grave indeed. In order to prevent tragedy you must find a very rare seed. The plant itself blooms only at night when the temperature is just right. If you care for this seed and give it life, it will save you from any strife!”
The second oldest of the Martini bunch soon turned into a strapping young man. Braden Maddox was now into his teen years and was proving to be an upstanding student in his class. He was definitely following in the path of his father’s footsteps and decided to become a surgeon as well. Luken couldn’t have been more proud of his eldest son and bragged about him a lot to his colleagues.
With six children in the house, having two teenagers made it quite easier on their parents. Since Luken worked long hours and was always on call, Story relied on both Chloe Dean and Braden Maddox to help out with their younger siblings. This allowed her to focus more on her work as well as making lunches and dinners and cleaning around the house. In spite of Chloe Dean’s after school music lesson and Braden Maddox’s part-time job at the grocery store, they didn’t mind looking after their siblings. They were use to it and it wasn’t a daily thing anyways. Story and Luken would really miss them when it was time for them to go off to college, which wasn’t that far from now. The great thing about having a lot of children was that someone was always old enough to watch the other, Story thought.
Laughing at Clover’s cool little prank they both agreed,
nothing beats fairy magic.
Not one single thing.
The Arrival of Hurley Forest Martini ~ Baby #3
Just as Chloe Dean had hoped, Story and Luken had another baby boy they called Hurley Forest. Hurley was the stubborn type and marched to the beat of his own drum. He didn’t mind playing alone and preferred it that way. He did things when he was ready to, which didn’t take long for Story to find that out for herself.
Yes, Hurley Forest was the baby of the family, but soon he would find himself right in the middle of his siblings because Story was once again pregnant with their 4th child. It was a good thing that the house was pretty much done and another big bedroom along with its own bathroom was added on to the second floor. Story and Luken knew with Chloe Dean being the only girl and her soon becoming a teenager, that she would need her own space for awhile. If not, they would never hear the end of it.
Look at all the pretty magic.
Isn't it simply fantastic?
Oh my! I feel a sudden chill!
We’d better move before we get frozen still!
Welcome Matilda Dylans, Norah’s second child :3
Looks like Clover’s showing something to Mr.Pond.
Why, is that fairy magic I see?
It is magic indeed!
I hope she knows what she’s doing.
Oh no, I think we've been seen!
Quickly now, we must flee!
Who knows what fairy tricks she has up her sleeve.
Is it me or do I hear singing? Let’s take a look through the stream maybe there is something magical happening!
Oh look, it’s Lilac singing to the forest!
Ssshh! Be quite we don’t want her to know we’re here!
Don’t speak, not a peep.
Let’s listen to her melody.
“Green Man come dance & play, Twirl and laugh here everyday. Bring lush growth and green to this spot. Every where you may skip and walk.''
Looks like new arrivals to Berry Glen! It’s the Bloom family! Primula has brought her mother Callistemon. And Prim’s two daughters Lilac and Clover.
Welcome to Berry Glen!
A place for fairies to frolic and fly,
free from any prying human eyes.
But what they don’t know is that there’s a secret stream.
It lets us see all the fun and silly things,
happening here amongst these enchanted trees.
What happens next?
Wait and we shall see....
“Don’t worry, Mr Aghdashloo, I’m a real doctor now. I totally know what to do with this hairdryer thingie in my hand.”
Maya got tired of the red. Blue for awhile!
Dyani smiled as she looked over her shoulder to see her friends having a blast. When she turned around Marco was smiling at her. “Would you do me the honor of having this dance?”
*I think they like each other.*
Alicia hopped on Nate’s back, “To the kitchen! I’m starved! Aren't you?” She giggled as she squeezed his sides with her inner thighs. Stella grabbed Luke and began to get her dance on. Completely out of his comfort zone but finding himself intrigued, Luke began to “dance” as well. With the music blaring and her friends being silly, Dyani walked out to the covered porch with Marco to get to know him better and have a little small talk.
Marco focused all of his attention towards Dyani, “Pleasure to actually meet you Dyani.”
“So let me get this straight,” Chloe Dean began as she and her mother sat down to eat their macaroni and cheese. “You’re having another baby? And because there’s no room, we’re building more rooms to the house so the baby can have a room too?”
“Mhm,” Story agreed, taking a bite of her dinner.
“I hope you’re sticking that thing with Braden because I need my own room!” she firmly expressed.
“You will get your own, Chloe Dean, don’t worry. Unless I’m having a girl. Then you’ll eventually will have to share your room again,” she replied.
“Well then I’m rooting for another boy,” she said dryly before taking another bite of her dinner.
