Anger.

     That was the first emotion they felt once they got out of the deep ocean of apathy. Anger turned into regret. Regret turned into sorrow. Sorrow into pain. Pain into anger. And so on. Emotions mixing, switching, changing. It was just so frustrating. They wished they could go back to not feeling anything. It’d be easier that way.

     But something was pulling them out. They couldn't exactly yell what. But they had to get out of bed. For the first time in days, almost weeks. Shiro pushed away the pristine bed sheets and looked around the room. A bedroom veiled in darkness. Deep black walls only magnified the atmosphere. Along with the rich golden decorations anyone would recognize it as one of the master bedrooms in the manor of the Archduchess Abyzou.

     The hybrid got up, but knees immediately gave up under the weight, even if it wasn't much at this point. The only support was the night stand which their hand rested upon as they fell onto the carpet covered floor. A cough escaped their mouth and the attempted to get up again, using the wall and night stand as support. They made their way towards the balcony with slow, careful steps. A push and the glass door opened silently. The fresh air made Shiro dizzy for a moment, but they pushed forward. Whatever was calling them was outside.

     Sooner than they'd ever think they realized what was the call. It was the choking stench of blood. Goosebumps covered their skin as they took a deep breath, inhaling the smell. It only made their senses sharpen and hunger it grow, teeth grew into fangs and fingernails into claws.

It must be a slaughter.

     No second thought given they rushed towards the direction the smell was coming from. Almost as if their whole strength came back, they made their way through the gardens and then through the town by the manor. The hybrid was barely a sharp winds piercing the the streets and alleys. Once reaching open area all that could be seen was a cloud of dust appearing behind them.

     With each leap they took, they lost more and more of their human look, turning into the blood thirsty beast they were in Hell. The Bloody Marquis of Obizuth came back once again. It wasn't a different person, a different personality. It was still the hybrid who gave in to the primal instincts of their father's blood. It was merely a title they were given centuries ago.

     Upon arrival they realized they were too late. Way too late to join in the slaughter. Numerous poles with bodies piled up on them like skewers spread through the fields. No sight of someone alive. No one to kill. No one to maul. But Shiro couldn't just turn back. They were on a hunt now. Once awoken they had to satisfy the hunger deep within their soul. The poles had to be filled with more corpses. More people had to be slaughtered, tortured, killed.

It has to be done now.

I’d like to propose once more for you to become a part of my household. Not many others can claim that they have that privilege.
