this is the final stage to my cat design I have finished painting the claws, the paws, teeth and the scar and tire treads this only took a short amount of time and have been happy with the results that I set out to design.

this will be the final stage of creating my model. I first used a heat gun to Harden the super sculpy which burnt it slightly. Then I added a coat of paint to make it seem more skin like when exposing the latex which was the next step I tried to add tire treads to the latex which was effective. I then started adding the furs which i stuck using hot glue gun at first I stuck the fur with out the base of material but eventually used the base this is because it was taking far to long without and worked just as effective with the base but I just need to add more furs where the exposing lines were.

the greatest difficulty will be the face as this is the most important feature to the model but if I take my time should be able to effectively add the fur.

Armature super sculpy

I based a lot of the face of my cat on a lynx due to the fact hey are hairless cats and you can really get an in detailed look at their appearance making it easier to make before adding hair so it looks more like a normal tabbby cat

I used these to help with the jaw of the cat and his set of teeth to which definitely helped with sculpting and modelling the teeth are very important for realism

Hairless kittens inspiration of eyes and posture but are too small compared to the size of my armature

skinless cats are a huge influence on my work because i can reference the armature before the added furr their very unique alien appearance reveals the body structure of the cat that helps me create my armatures face and paws before adding the creatures coat.

this is the third stage of creating my my armature and shows the beginning of adding super sculpy to the head and paws which took around 4hours to finish super sculpting the face and paws.

This is a perfectly intact mummified cat that has been in the ground for thousands of years it helps as reference to the armature as I can see their body shape in a more simplified form

images of cats hissing/growling this expression helps with the position of the face i want my cat to have due to its mean scary showing of teeth and how it makes a frowning expression of the eyes. the ears of the cat are also very important, animals like Lynx have ears directly above the eyes while domesticated cats have ears positioned more to the side of the head maybe due to the size of the skull.

a very misdiviouse looking expression on this cats face is good insparation to catch the deviancy of cats the wild primal instict of the animal is very important when creating taxademry you must catch the essence of the animal which is why this photo is great for my project as it gives the cat a sense of evil which is what i want to express in my project.

after finshing my armature and adding the super sculpy i must then add the furr this will be a diffcult proccess like the icing on the cake if the presentation is not good then it would be a fail in my eyes, which is exactly why i must research different intricat cat furr coats. my cats coat will be very thick and fluffy with almost a mane around the kneck and under belly the eyes of the bottem picture fascinate me and i also would like to have yellow to orange eyes i my cats design.
