Customary birthday post. Well for the first time on tumblr at least. I am hungoverrrr. It was a small scene with my sisters, which would be considered lame by 9 out of 10 people but yeah I guess being an introvert doesn't make birthdays the most gala event of the year. I never imagined by 21st would be like this. I mean it's actually come to the point where everything is so weirdsy that I actually find it funny. I mean, who would've ever imagined they'll be spending their 21st with a deliberately burnt face in Delhi. I know, I know its downright creepy for someone who randomly stumbles upon this post, but I'm just so fed up of waiting and being depressed and all that shit. I know I'll stare at the mirror excitedly everyday hoping I'm better, but I dont want it debilitate me anymore. I mean, what happened was a case of, as we learn in torts volenti non fit injuria. I decided to break what was fixed. So I need to deal with being treated more coldly by more people because I'm not pretty anymore, I need to deal with the occasional stares and questions. But most of all I need to see the funny side to it all, because I know my wounds are nothing, miniscule compared to what some people have to deal with on a much more regular, painful basis. However, a fraction of that experience has also taught me so much. I dont want to, or more precisely, feel the need to cover my face anymore. Imperfection exists, and people need to fucking deal with it, not me. A little bit of fugliness induced eyesore doesn't kill anyone, and is no reason to hate anyone. So today I've turned 21. I am older, I don't know if I'm wiser. I know I'm not the ideal 21 year old that everyone wants me to be, but I hope that taking my time to being myself will payoff sooner or later. I want it to payoff. I want to be better, in every good sense of the word. About to take off for Bombay now. Happy birthday you stud you.
