I just went out to the fire escape to toke away my frustration and some guy was already smoking on the steps. So, I asked him if he had something to prop the door open because I forgot my key and he said “yeah one sec”, ran back up the stairs and came back with a deer bone. I asked him where he got it and he just said, real flippantly, “Eh, we have tons of bones.”

So long story short we have a deer bone door stopper now

So, i’ve abruptly decided to archive this blog and move to a new one. Pretty much everything will be the same, but the aesthetic of it. I’m entering the “””modern age””” of tumblr RP and actually going to work in photoshop and format and shit. 

Subsequently, most RPs will be dropped and i will be posting a short starter call there. If you want to continue a thread, though, please just let me know. I’d be completely happy to 

I’ll post the link by the end of the day. Just have to clean up a few last things.

At three in the morning, Micah wasn’t expecting a friendly greeting – not even from Sarah. But, after the night he just had, Micah could stand the other’s annoyance – anger even – if it meant he didn’t have to go home. He’d sleep in the front yard if he had to.

“I’m not gonna bother you. I won’t even say anything if you don’t want me to. I can just sleep on the ground or something and you–.” But, then, Sarah’s  remark. Micah could’ve sobbed. He stepped forwards, flung his arms around the other, and, through a realized sigh, murmured, “You’re better than anyone.”

‘ shh, shh. you were dreaming. ’

Micah was already sitting up-right, stiff and covered in sweat, when he woke. There, he breathed a soft, disorientated moan, as though still coming out of sleep. It took him a few another moments after that for him to realize what was happening. 

Bed. Tate. Safe.

“Sorry. I’m sorry.” He gently bumped his forehead to the other’s shoulder in affection before mumbling something about needing to smoke and wrestling his way from the sheets. It wasn’t like he was going to get back to sleep anyway.

‘ here, take my jacket. ’

Warily, Micah stared down at the jacket in her hand. He didn’t like accepting anything from strangers. Too often, it came with unseen conditions. But, Micah had been in the elements all night and hadn’t been able to shake the shivers since.  Another minute of this and he was pretty sure his teeth were going to crack under all the rattling.

So, slowly, he took the jacket from her hand and pulled it on. Then, staring down at his feet, he muttered a curt ‘thank you.’
