â hey ⊠my blood is black, yâknow. â
it wasnât uncommon to see things out of the norm in death city -- none of them were normal by any means. even she was a freak in one way or another; it was impossible to deny such an obvious fact. though, having someone ( a child! ) tell her that their blood was black as opposed to the usual reddish hue, it was concerning. cautious in her step, marie stared at the child for a moment, trying to pick apart the situation. she was a death scythe -- not a fool -- she could read when the situation had the potential to be dangerous; but she also was not willing to fight a child without reason, her motherly instincts were so prominent for a woman that was not yet married.Â
â are you a student? â  she finally asked, not wanting to speak quite yet about the odd way that their meeting had begun. finding out just who this child was -- that was most important in her mind; even if she was concerned for them, she was well aware that children could have an evil side as vile as anyone else.Â
