Closed Starter: Uneasy
“..Hey Dot? I need some.. help.”
Iolite was NOT adjusting to his body very well. He was more than happy to have his own self; His own consciousness. But.. he just felt off. Like his limbs weren’t his own– like his thoughts weren’t his own. As if he felt.. Dysphoric. He needed time with her. make these strange feelings go away.
“Yeah?” The Gem switched her screen off and moved to lean on the large gem. “What’s the problem?” She knew he was adjusting still and there would be plenty of discomforts… The poor gem… But at least he was free from sharing active time with Amethyst…
“…I’m not adjusting well.” He pulled her close to him from behind, melancholy overtaking his features.
“I’m so happy I have my own body, now. And it’s all thanks to you, love. But.. it feels strange not being comforted by being inside another being when I don’t want to be around. I thought I would adjust well. But.. it’s strange.” he buried his face in her hair, eyes closing.
“I appreciate it. I do. Just.. so many feelings all at once. I’m overwhelmed.”
“I know baby…. I warned you it would be different… that things may be a little overwhelming at first. I promise things will be better…” she assured him, stroking through fluffy hair. “If you’d like, we can go out and do something fun….take your mind off things…”
“I know you did.. I don’t know. Maybe? I don’t know what we’d do..” he mutters into her blonde hair. He squeezes her closer, looking from her.
