There's is so much lore and headcanons for endless torment trio that people are just sleeping on. Especially for the doors Visitor. I'm just going to list a whole bunch. This is going to be long, but worth it.
The hotel's design is from the 1940s if Visitor has been there that long, they've been trapped for at least 80 years
They probably have serious memory loss and struggle to tell what's real at times
Have you ever done multiple runs in a row, and you mix up stuff. Like you forget that that item you got was last run and you don't have it anymore? Yeah, that.
Visitor doesn't remember their name, hence why there is no concrete title for them.
Visitors could have thalassophobia, aquaphobia, and claustrophobia (fears of deep water, water, and suffocation). In doors, some ways to die are the water tunnels, the firedamp, and the void. All involve suffocation, and unlike all the other deaths in the game, there's not a lot you can do about it. You can't really defend yourself from that, so it probably freaks them out.
The crucifix, I don't know why I haven't seen people utilizing this. The Visitor can just banish entries with it. Imagine how Expendable and especially John would react to that!
I like to think that visitor journals. They have very detailed guides and entries about the entities and how to survive them. They also have made maps of the reoccurring rooms. (Library, seek chase, grumble nest, dining room)
The only people to talk to in doors are El goblino, grampy, and the architects, and you can only talk to the architects if you die.
Dread. Dread shows up if you stay in one room for too long. So there's no stopping. John is always depicted as getting anxious when they go too slow, Visitor probably would be too.
The PDG (Prisoner Diving Gear) there's a shotgun shell aiming at Expendable's head at all times. Said shotgun will go off if:
Prisoner tries to leave the Let-Vand zone.
Prisoner attempts to escape the Blacksite.
Prisoner disobeys direct orders from any personnel.
Prisoner enters restricted area without permission.
Prisoner picks up any weaponry without permission.
Prisoner tries to attack personnel.
Prisoner tries to tamper with PDG device.
Prisoner tries to take off the PDG device.
Prisoner tries to scramble the connection.
The expendable is confirmed to have Cleithrophobia, (the fear of being trapped) that's why you can't stay in the locker for a long period of time.
If the expendable has come into contact with pandoras Box, they will also have: Arachnophobia, Astrophobia, Erythrophobia, Cherophobia, Dystychiphobia, Capnophobia and Ommetaphobia, but it only manifest if they actually come into contact with that thing. It does wear off after a couple days.
The not so Imaginary friends, I just like them. I think they're fun and they should be used more
Being an EXR-P means you're an expendable. It also means you're not allowed to die. Urbandshade will just keep bringing you back. You don't get a choice in the matter :D
There are several references to doors in pressure, including: rooms with a similar layout, items from Doors sitting on tables like letters, a crucifix, and plant, and an actual door.
Give me more painter interactions, I love that little guy he deserves better
Give this man a SPR-INT and some vitamins. I wanna see what will happen.
Fake doors are the bane of his existence
(Sorry there aren't more for John)
I'll probably do another one of these. Probably one about stuff for all of them collectively.
I might also do some other rooms like games
