I saw this game years ago and been wanting to play it so bad, so avoided spoilers as I haven't been able to get the game.

However.

I finally watched a play through just to get said ominous signs the prospect of said signs was too tempting. Worth it.

(Hard to see but that's a platform of wood planks spelling "no", over an endless hole, walls dripping with "blood")
