However, it was a toxic relationship where I was brainwashed and manipulated daily for almost 2 years of my life and only about 5 months ago did I start accepting that it was abuse. I legitimately have a hard time understanding the difference because of this and as much as I educate myself on the subject, I don’t know if I’ll ever truly understand it.
