Not a morning person. Travis Barker imagine.

Today was the day. It’s a special day for many reasons all leading to the love of my life Travis. Life without him is like not being able to eat. He is everything i need and more. In fact tomorrow is our fourth anniversary and im surprising him today. My band  Apple’s Eye have been on our third world tour, and as much as i love it i missed my husband. Travis and i met when we opened for blink 182. I play the keyboard and turns out the cute drummer knew how to play as well. We started to bond and in all honesty i fell hard for him. We have so much in common that we could stay up for days talking without a break.

We got off the plane and into the rent a car, a big van. I was closest to the airport so they dropped me off first. I got my duffel bag, backpack and keyboard out of the back and placed it by the door i said my goodbyes and went inside leaving my stuff at the door. It was 7:23 and i knew Travis wasn’t awake yet. I took off my shoes and walked upstairs quietly not to wake him. I open the door to our bedroom and see Travis facedown on the bed fully covered and his arm spread across my side of the bed. I sneak over to my side and crawl under the blanket and his arm. He shuffles a bit and i get next to him and start tracing his tattoos lightly. He tightens his arm around me and mumbled in his sleep.  “Travis! Baby wake up!” More mumbling.  I pick up his arm and and lay across his back. “Baby im home wake up sleeping beauty.” I start kissing his cheek. “Can’t you wait to wake me up y/n?“  I giggle as i roll off him. "Not when you sleep like the dead. Besides do you really wanna be sleeping right now. I just got home and i missed my husband.” He rolled on his side so we were facing each other. “Well if you would have told me maybe I’d be awake. ” he said kissing my forehead. “I wanted to surprise you but sleeps more important to you.” I giggled and sat up. I got out of the bed and walked down  to the kitchen starting a pot of coffee and toasting some bagels. Sitting at the island counter i hear Travis walk in. “Sleep is important but i love you more ” he kissed me passionately. “How about we watch movies all day and lounge around and tomorrow I’ll take you out to dinner. After all it is the anniversary of the happiest day of my life.” I got up and wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him on the lips lightly.  “ I’d love that and i love you. But i get to pick the first movie.!” I said kissing him again. “Y/n anything for you. I love you and im glad your home early. ” he kissed me and grabbed a bagel.
