The most heartbreaking, bitter sweet truth is - it will always be you. I will continue to love you from afar, quietly. I will cheer you on, and hope that you find everything you've ever wanted, even if I'm not part of it. We will never speak again, and my name will never pass through your mind, and I will learn to be okay with that. As long as you're happy. As long as you find everything you have ever wanted. I will take all my pain, swallow it down, and nestle it in my rib cage, hidden from the world. I will not burden anyone else with this ache. It is mine to carry, for all of my days.
