I don’t think I would mind considering you a friend correspondence. There’s nothing wrong with spreading my little circle outside of my mates the marauders. I don’t really know why you would want me as a friend, I don’t even know why the marauders include me half the time, but thank you, I guess. As for my summer plans, nothing has been set in stone. I mean Remus has extended invitation to the beach and all, but there’s been no word on a date. As for Sirius, he’s probably with a girl doing Merlin knows what, he’s busy most of the time. Did you have something in mind?

I'm not entirely sure what drew me to you, to be honest. I've not many friends in the first place, but you don't seem to match them: liars, snakes, cheaters, quick to anger and accusations. Birds of a feather, I guess, though I am trying to change. Perhaps that's why I need you so much.

How very pleased I am to hear from you. Things have been very peaceful of late. France is absolutely gorgeous, and I am rather fond of the notion of staying here forever. Rest assured that when I am back in England I shall endeavor to visit as often as my schedule allows.
