i think just abt everyone knows what wimmelbook is when they see it but they just dont know the name, i had to do some digging to try and find the name for that style, but its art like this

every character is stands out, every object has a purpose, its just a single story being told in one frame and it didnt hit me until watching Ep 6 of CITY that i think Arawi is exactly capturing that with Nichijou and CITY

Little fun fact: In the German verison of the books, the Mothermouth has been renamed to "Ahnentor" which means "gate of ancestors" bc Mothermouth aka "Muttermund" is an actual term in German and means cervix. No wonder they changed it because that's always awkward to read when translating it literally lol
