Dye coloring

When dying fleece I generally use Aljo dyes as they are a professional grade dye which offers richer colors and less time in the dye bath. RIT dye is generally ok for simple base colors, however with puppets such as Kermit the frog or Ernie and Bert, a higher grade dye is best to achieve ultimate color tones.

What is a Muppet?

"Muppet" is a combination of the words "marionette" and "puppet." (A marionette is a specific type of puppet with strings attached to a control bar or bars, operated by a puppeteer from overhead.)

However, Jim Henson himself always said that he came up with the word "Muppet" because he liked the sound of it.
