“Hioshi.” Body went limp as they walked, arm hanging loosely over the man’s shoulder. Breathing had evened out and he nuzzled into his shoulder. He dreamt of his family. The faces had blurred but it was a happy dream. Though it would soon turn into a nightmare like it did every time he slept. Beasts with empty eyes and scary masks, his mother screaming not to look as she ushered him inside. Feeling him stop he whines and opens his eyes peeking at him. “Hioshi stay with me forever? Not gonna leave, righ’?”
As the other was asleep in his arms Hiroshi had made his way inside his home. Then headed up the stairs to his room. The puppets were a bit curious sure, yet they left it alone for now. They could only wonder if the boy was a new soul for a new puppet. If so then it was odd, because Hiroshi would normally come home with just the soul. Nonetheless Hiroshi was in his room with the door shut. He walked to the bed only to slowly lay the boy down just so he wouldn't wake him. Seems he didn’t have to seeing as the child woke up on his own. “Huh? Yes I’ll stay with you forever I promise I will never leave.”
