For reasons that really piled up, i had to walk away from a friend group last year. To be honest, I still check some of their socials sometimes, and it does suck to see they are NOT doing well. At the same time though, when you consider how this girl exploited her (now ex) girlfriend and family or how she would be extremely critical and harsh towards her friends…. When the people you exploited no longer allow you to exploit them… when you push your friends away over the tiniest things and mince their words and refuse to engage in collaborative conversations to fix problems…

Is it really so surprising that it ends with feeling more isolated and helpless than before?
