Hi I’m looking for a fic. It’s Christmas time and hermione is at Draco’s bc they’re hosting a ball/gala and she goes to the garden and he follows her and they’re talking. Draco says something about how he didn’t get everything he wanted for christmas that year, and hermione tells him he’s a spoiled brat. We as the readers already know that she is in love with him. It’s a one shot. thank you!!

Not sure if I remember enough, but I'm going to try because it's haunted me for years. I probably read this fic about 8-9 years ago. What I vaguely remember was Hermione being married off to Draco (it was either a marriage contract or marriage law) and her being confined to Malfoy Manor. LV was dead, but Draco was having meetings with DE about regrouping. Hermione is spying on him and might have been pregnant. It was M on FF net and the most definite thing I has was it was about 8-9 years old.

The part about Hermione being confined to the manor and the spying/being pregnant while he’s meeting with Death Eaters sounds like the later chapters of “Almost Perfect, Almost Yours,” by BelleofSummer. It’s from 2011/2012, so if you’re certain about the date, that may not by the right story.

This sounds like Hesperides’ Apple by ogygiasylph, which was published between 2006 and 2009 on FFN. HA is a Draco/Ginny story, but Hermione is an important character

Thanks @idreamofdraco - it was 100% a Dramione story. I’ve never read Drinny :/ and looking at just the intro of the story, it was in a world where HP *had* won the war, that I’m certain of. 

I don’t even know if the story was ever finished. I went off of FF for a few years right as I started the story. But thank you!

I just don’t understand how women can idolize Kim Kardashian, a women with no education, class, or morals, when there are women in the world like Amal Alamuddin. An Oxford graduate, human rights advocate, and successful lawyer. She has beauty, brains and most importantly self respect.

This is so disgustingly sexist and misogynistic. stop pinning women against each other, stop shaming women for having sex or dressing provocatively, and don’t fucking use a lack of education as an insult because a lot of people actually don’t have access to education. Kim kardashian is one of the most successful business women to exist. She took the opportunity to bank on her reality show and create an empire for herself and her family and now she’s incredibly successful. Both of these women are beautiful. Both of these women are educated. Both of these women have the same value. Don’t try to pin them against each other because one of their dresses is shorter than the other.
