"It will probably remain stable until I get close enough to dispell the magic." Tiran stated somewhat scared, even if the scowl wasn't directed toward him that didn't make it any less scary.
He didn't know what lay within the wall that Xehanort was going to try and open. Given that neither of them knew what could possibly happen if they went inside something affect by the stasis. For all they could know, it could end up with them in the stasis, temporarily or permanently. It was why Tiran felt that Xehanort wasn't going to use the same means he had to bring them here.
There wasn't a moment of hesitation as the young man heeded the command and put some distance between the two of them, though he would stay in the other's sight. The other's abilities did grant him some amount assurance, so he wasn't all that likely to try and go off on his own.
The wall was constructed with materials that were magic resistant and was magically enchanted to be phsyically durable. The enchantment, however, had worn away due to the circumstances surrounding the world. That made the materials similar to standard building materials in terms of durability.
Given that the object was not being struck with the intention of moving the object, it wasn't going to trigger the force to be dispersed among the majority of the world. The strikes would gradually slice through material of the wall, eventually breaking through to the other side.
Xehanort hummed, but put any thoughts away onto the backburner. His focus kept drawn towards his slices, making sure they were nice and precise. And eventually, his efforts were paid off. And so, he started to explore, keeping his keyblade out for now. Who knew if he - or they - would need it in an emergency? Yellow hues at that thought tossed themselves upwards to observe the walls, magickal shields around himself strengthening. Just in case. He didn't need to be injured or anything, but he wondered too if his magick could even stop the world's own.
The elder stepped carefully onto the ground finally, and moved his sight away from studying the edges of the hole he had carved out for himself.
Tiran would wait until instructed, especially given that there wasn't much telling what would happen if he tried to go in since that he dispelled the stasis in an area around him rather than direct contact.
The wall itself was undisturbed besides the hole that had been made through the slicing. The stasis magic wrapped around the building, but was no longer present on the area where the wall had been carved out.
The segment of the wall that had been dislodged laid where it has fallen, but the stasis magic surrounded the segment, now combining with the stasis on the floor.
Outside of the wall, the building once served as a store. Articles of clothing laid strewn about, though the articles were slightly charred from fire. The store itself was largely ransacked, though it was hard to tell if it was out of panick or with burglary as the intention. Papers, clothing, and even shards of glass littered the floor scattered among the fallen shelves, claiming it among the lack of opposition, almost opposing Xehanort's presence as a small but inanimate army.
Though obscured by the toppled shelves, a small blue light would flicker with bits of yellow, casting a dim brightness throughout the area, though the light would be refracted by some segments of glass that it was able to reach.
