The task was largely done. He had finished tying the ribbons around his wrists and ankles, then braiding them up the length of his arms and legs. The right arm had proven difficult when his left hand struggled to complete the relatively simple task of threading two lengths of ribbon. Donatello had chosen a red so deep that in low light it almost looked black. However, when the light caught the thick strands of ribbon they shimmered like rubies. Each band contrasting with his olive scales perfectly. Red was, of course, Raphael's colour that in turn, Donnie hoped, would symbolise that he marked him as his berserker brother's.
The red leather collar was snug, and occasionally pressed against his windpipe when his neck bent too far forward, but that, from what he had read, was part of the experience. He had tied one last ribbon binding his short, chubby tail completely in the glittering fabric. Two more ribbons and he was finished. These however he couldn't do alone, and meant letting someone other than his lover see him in his... compromising condition.
His thumb paused above the send button. Pushing it felt like he was signing his own death warrant. With a groan, his thumb descended on the button, and a moment later the text was into the ether unable to be taken back. His scales flushed at the impending embarrassment, and as he waited for the reply, he counted under his breath. Only reaching four before his tPhone vibrated.
"Be right there :)", the words flashed. The screen eventually fading off when it received no further commands.
There was no knock, just a soft creak as Raphael's bedroom door slowly opened to a sea-green beak cautiously peeking through the growing gap.
"Donnie?" Mikey called out softly.
"In here," he returned, watching as Michelangelo, now confident Raphael wasn't present and about to beat on him for trespassing, stepped into the room. The youngest turtle’s cautious demeanour gone replaced with his usual overabundance of confidence.
"Dude, looks like they are right when they say it's the quiet ones you gotta watch out for."
Donnie pursed his lips and rolled his eyes. He had been expecting the teasing, it had long been established as the currency required for enlisting Mikey's help with anything.
"Just get over here, Raph will be back soon. You can poke fun all you want afterwards."
"Okay, okay. But only because I'm a little jealous I didn't think of doing something similar for Leo first. What'cha need me to do bro?"
Donatello moved his hands behind his back and crossed his wrists until the sat above his ankles. "First I need you to tie my hands to my feet. Use that ribbon over there." Donnie instructed nodding his head at the remaining scraps.
He winced as Mikey quickly wrapped and tied the ribbon. "Shell, not so tight you'll cut off my circulation."
"Heh, sorry dude. I'm used to hog-tying bad guys, not my big bro," Michelangelo chuckled as he loosened the bonds a little before garnishing the knot with a bow. "Okay, what's next?"
"Umm, next is the blindfold."
"What are you using for that? This ribbon ain't going to block much."
"Use one of Raph's spare masks. He keeps them in the box on top of his dresser."
Donnie watched as Mikey quickly padded across the room and removed one of Raphael's masks.
"Err, this one's a little... damp, let me grab another."
Donnie's face flushed a new as he realised Mikey had grabbed the mask he had used to clean up after the last time Raphael had made him come.
He closed his eyes as Mikey draped and tied the blindfold.
"Hmm. You're totes missing something dude."
"We don't have much time Mikey. This is fine."
"Wait I know! Drop down."
"Dude, it's nothing I haven't seen before. Hell, I see two on a daily basis, and it's not like I haven't seen it growing up."
"That's not even the point. Why do you want me to drop down?"
"Come on, you've gone to all this effort and you're not going to wrap the main prize?"
"Haven't you ever heard the term less is more?" Donnie asked with little conviction. Mikey had a point. How often was he going to be in this situation? Well, hopefully, a lot more if Raph liked the whole thing, but still it did make sense to go all out the first time, right?
"I don't know... Raph is exceptionally protective," the memory of Raphael's warning growl as his best friend waved his tool in front of Donnie's face left him feeling wary of getting another brother's scent on his sex.
"Dude, I'm sure the allure of a gift wrapped cock is going to be more than enough to help him get over it. If he's still got a problem after he's finished with you, he can have a go tying a bow on Leo's cock so we're even."
"I don't think that's the issue here," Donnie sighed, and thankful he couldn't see Mikey's face he gave into the idea and relaxed his length out of its pouch.
"I take it back; it’s way bigger than the last time I saw it."
"What? Dude, we're family if we can't talk about our dicks with each other, then who are we supposed to talk about them with?"
"Literally anyone else!" He protested jumping a little when he felt Mikey's fingers pick up his soft length. Neither spoke as the bow was tied, and Donnie was glad when Michelangelo took care to be gentle and not tie it as tightly as he had the bow binding his wrists to his ankles.
"There done. Bet he loves it."
"Thanks," he mumbled certain he would die from embarrassment at any moment now.
"You better go," Donnie started only to finish in a startled gasp as Raph's voice announcing his return rang out through the lair.
"One last thing, say ah."
"Wha," Donnie was going to ask what on earth for, but quickly found out as Mikey stuffed something into his open mouth. From the taste and smell of it, Raph's damp mask. Blinded and muted he heard his baby brother's feet quickly patter out of Raphael's room closing the door with a soft click.
And then he heard nothing until Raph's muffled annoyance drifted through the door "What ya lurkin' around my room for shell for brains?"
"Nothin," came the voice of a distinctly smug sounding Michelangelo.
"I find out ya messed with any of my stuff or left any of ya stupid pranks in my room I'm gonna beat that sorry tail of yours into next week."
"Roger that bro, no pranks promise. Cross my heart."
"Think he said he was going to take a nap."
"Could use a rest myself. Ol' fearless kept dragging the patrol out. Refused to let me leave. The ninja nerd is still out there."
"Cool. Guess I'll join him, could use a bit of city air. Enjoy your nap dude."
Donnie's breath hitched as he heard Mikey's heavy steps pad away. The door to Raph's room groaned open once more, and Donnie's heart went from racing to threatening to burst from his chest in a single beat.
