I don't have the strength to hold in my meltdown anymore but I don't have time to be hospitalized so alas here we are

i told you things - gracie abrams
"The world is happening in a room that I can't enter, life is happening in a gathering I am not invited to. Being unwanted is a language I am fluent in."
— Fatima Amir Bilal
“She watched the stars collapse knowing that like her, they held onto their light for as long as they could.”
— Wilder
If you don't understand why somebody is grieving for so long over something, consider yourself fortunate that you do not understand.
Sometimes, I pull us out of the box I stuffed you into in my heart. It still aches, not devastating like before. I still shatter, but only for a minute. Sometimes, something reminds me. That doesn't shatter me, it just steals my air and cripples me, but only for a minute. Sometimes, I miss me before you and me believing in you and me without the weight of you. But it's only for a minute. I hope if I live through enough minutes, I won't fear you anymore.
