On another note Noah Wyle played that scene with abbot perfectly. The grinning, almost laughing while avoiding eye contact is such a nervous tic. The number of times I’ve laughed in my partner’s face as he tries to talk to me about my having relapsed into self harm or harmful self talk, only because I can’t face it.
