Soooo... we got married!!!!

I remember being on Tumblr as a junior in highschool-- didn’t know that years from that I will be posting on here that I got married! Life is crazy and you never know where it can take you. If there is anything I learned, it’s to hold on. Years ago I was hung-up on a boy who, looking back, didn’t deserve me at all. Now I’m married to this amazing guy! So keep holding on, keep going. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

"What a plot twist that I actually met the love of my life where I least expected it." The love of your life? After dating for a whopping total of 6 months? I sincerely hope that many many years from now, you can still say that. But for now, it baffles me when people call their significant others "the love of their life" when they haven't been dating for even a year. Months are easy. Years are hard. A life of love is even less predictable. Don't throw around "love of my life" so freely.

I was so caught up in expressing my feelings in this blog that I forgot how people are. I was honestly shocked when I saw this message but at the same time I was like, “Yeah, of course”. I am aware that things could easily go south. I’m 22, not 16 and blindly in love with the quarterback just because he gave me a mixed CD. I know my relationship. Believe me, I know things can go wrong. Life can happen. People can change. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t love him as much as I do now. 6 months can be so soon to tell for others. But I can’t really schedule how I feel now can I? I love him. That’s how I feel about him. Why do I need time to validate my feelings?
