"One more material ..." Cahaya muttered under his breath, staring at the front page of a textbook he must memorize—according to him, because literally no one is forcing him to do so—for a project he already planned in his mind.
Though the longer he tried to focus, the blurrier the texts became to him.
"..." Cahaya squinted as his vision became even more blurry.
He firmly closed the book shut. "I can't do this anymore."
Cahaya quickly organized his books and stationeries, feeling that he could pass out any second. Before ... Plap! His head dropped to the table, already drowned in deep slumber.
"... Cahaya—?" Someone gently opened the door to his room, before stopping himself upon seeing the scene. "Ah."
Tanah walked closer to check if he's really asleep. Waving in front of Cahaya's face, making weird almost quiet noises—he doesn't want to bother him, of course!—, tapping his shoulder one to three times ... And he's still in place, peacefully breathing.
Tanah smiled, then proceeded to pull a thick blanket from the bed that was just right beside Cahaya's desk.
He gently covered his brother with the blanket, patting him on the head. "Oh, you silly."
"Have a nice dream, Cahaya."
