STRANGER THINGS VERSES. basic overview, needs to be fleshed out a little more but its solid enough for interactions.

SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES END !!

version one: jean was also exposed to the mind-flayer in the upside down and developed powers just like henry creel, but unlike henry she fights its influence and it sort of becomes another presence in her mind that she dubs "the phoenix". she finds herself in hawkins in her late teens ( 18-19 ), around s3 since she feels some fuck shit is afoot.

version two: the bridge connecting the two worlds also connects to the x-men world but only a cosmic entity could penetrate through. jean somehow manages to break through into the upside either when eleven banishes henry to the abyss or via some other means. she finds herself in hawkins where there are no mutants or anything marvel-ish going on. the phoenix force was ripped out of her when she crossed over and her mutation weakened ( so she's not too overpowered )
