I don't know who needs to hear this, I just want to say, please continue being yourself. Carry out your plans. Be as smart, creative, resourceful as you are. Don't dim your light.

There's this narrative - forced on women and probably men too, by so many different forces, that if they're not married with children their life is worthless.

I'm here to tell you as someone in my 30s who spent my 20s distracted because I was a failure in their words, that none of these people will pay for your house, your kids' food, your kids' education. all these people that pressure you to couple up and have children, they won't help.

so do that extra job, build that house, take that course, be brilliant, be yourself, strive, succeed, and feel good about yourself.
