Learning automated QA... brain overload.
When you hear about "small last-minute changes"
How I feel during early beta where we're trying to get feature complete
When QA on break and a Dev still ask you to verify a bug fix
Getting a test request for something that should have been in QA weeks ago, and is to be released tomorrow no matter what.
and getting your revenge by immediately filing multiple showstopper bugs
When a bug slips through the net and you know it's your fault.
Checking out the credits looking for your name, and seeing mistakes there too.
That feeling when you submit your first bug
Trying to escape the office on a Friday night... then the PM notices you and asks you to stay to "just test one little thing..."
When that last minute project that you crushed with showstoppers comes back with a couple fixes, and more new bugs.
Your colleague sitting next to you
...always !
Testing my own code
by @sdolotom
This is why you need proper QA to rip your code to shreds without any remorse.
Trying to make progress on Monday

Finding a critical bug on the last item of a testcase.
"Has anyone tested doing (X) while doing (Y)? Let's see"
When we find out that weekend OT has been cancelled.
