it mostly gets lost in the background radiation of how many good names there are in the silt verses, but they really hit the nail on the head with the petropater. how the destruction of the natural world is fundamentally tied up with the historical roman practice of the family being a primarily economic unit controlled almost entirely by men in the role of the pater familias. just really really good
