“Well,” says Vlad, brushing invisible dust from his clothes as he watches the temporal portal spin down into nothing. “I suppose that’s the end of that. And good riddance. Having to look at a pimply-faced Jack Fenton–”
Before Vlad can finish the thought, the door behind him slams open and sends him flying off the auditorium stage to collapse in a heap among the chairs.
“HELLO AMITY PARK!” shouts Ember, a live mic already in her hand.
Ember smirks down at him. “Get out of here, nerd. Man, what’s with this snooze-fest? It’s almost October and the party hasn’t even started? You’re lucky I’m here to rescue you!”
“Ember!” shouts Danny, stepping forward. “What are you doing here? How… How did you even get in there?”
“I wasn’t talking to you! Scram!”
Ember drops the mic, but it floats near her head. She brings her hand down, fast, across the strings of her guitar. FWAM ~ 𝅘𝅥𝅯
She takes a moment to adjust the mic, ignoring the Fentons and Team Phantom, who have fallen on top of Vlad.
“HELLOO AMITY PARK! WHO WANTS TO HAVE A GOOD TIME?”
No one responds. There’s no one there. Danny and the others are only there because the – Well, okay, Danny hadn’t exactly followed the scientific explanation. Something about the acoustics and vibrations.
“Well! If you want to have a good time, head for the Kirmsse arena in eleven days, because I’m launching my comeback World Tour from there! Be there or be square!
“Oh, and if you want to know what I’m playing? Here’s the the setlist:”
