Ever Wondered What It Feels Like to Launch Your Own CubeSat Into the Sky?
What if you could hold a satellite in your hands build it from scratch and then watch it rise into the sky toward the edge of space?
Most people only dream about space missions. But our students actually lived one.
The moment the HAB (High Altitude Balloon) lifted our student-built CubeSat, something magical happened. The crowd went silent. Eyes widened. Hearts raced.
Because this wasn’t just a balloon launch. This was their creation. Their circuit design. Their code. Their data.
Rising above the clouds.
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to launch your own satellite… this workshop gives you that exact experience.
The Journey: From Curiosity to a Complete CubeSat
Across four intense, exciting days, students didn’t just “learn” about satellites they became satellite makers.
They built a real CubeSat equipped with:
LoRa communication
Humidity, temperature & pressure sensors
GPS tracker
Live webcam
Telemetry system
Every connection, every module, every sensor was assembled by the students themselves. The process was messy, challenging, thrilling and unforgettable.
On Day 5, when their CubeSat finally lifted off tied to a high-altitude balloon, the feeling was indescribable:
Goosebumps. Pride. Achievement. A moment you don’t just watch, you feel.
The Launch Moment: A Dream Becoming Real
As the HAB balloon climbed, the CubeSat transmitted live data from increasing altitudes. Students tracked their satellite’s journey watching their work ascend higher than aircraft flight levels.
For many, it was the first time they realized:
“I can build something that reaches the sky.”
This is the experience behind the question in our title. This is what it feels like. And yes, you can live it too.
Where QSAT Comes In The Experts Behind the Experience
This entire transformation is possible because of the powerful support and expertise of QSAT, India’s leading space-education training platform.
QSAT doesn’t just teach. QSAT builds creators.
During the workshop:
QSAT engineers trained students like real mission operators
Experts assisted in building the CubeSat step-by-step
Mission specialists guided the HAB setup and launch
The whole experience was structured like a mini real-world space mission
QSAT’s vision is simple: Every student should get a chance to build, launch, and understand satellite technology not just read about it.
That’s why thousands of students trust QSAT workshops to ignite their space careers.
