the character who is supposed to be the lead, the character for whom this show was supposed to be for. we were supposed to learn sam wilson’s story, and so far just about everyone other than sam wilson has received more development. 

the director and the screenwriter talked up the exploration of sam’s past, his motivations, his conflicts. we were supposed to learn about him as he went on a journey centered around the legacy of the shield and what that legacy means to him, what that legacy means to black america.

we were supposed to feel with him, grieve with him, learn with him.

this is not his story anymore. that much is evident.

i’m so sorry, mackie. you deserve so much better than this.

Let’s talk about Sebastian Stan’s newest film: Monday

⭐️ The first thing that comes to most people’s minds when talking about this movie is the fact that Sebastian will have a nude scene. Of course, many people regard Sebastian as a very good looking person, myself being one of them, but can we PLEASE just agree on a few things. ⭐️

Sebastian Stan has body confidence issues. No matter how he presents himself in any scenes in the movie, regardless of how many clothes he’s wearing, please don’t make fun of him. In fact, just don’t make fun of anyone’s appears, cause that’s a shitty thing to do.

PLEASE don’t make his nude scenes the only thing you enjoy about the film. Don’t expect it to be the only thing it can offer you. From what I’ve heard about it, it sounds like a beautiful, heartfelt movie that is worth watching regardless of an attractive actor’s nudity. Seriously, if you watch the film and the only thing you talk about/appreciate is his body, then you’re missing the point of the film.

Please bear in mind: I’m not trying to gate keep people at all!

⭐️ But it’s so so important to remember that Sebastian is a person at the end of the day, a sweet, kind hearted and creative person. He’s such a good actor and he must’ve poured so much time and effort into this film. So please, don’t just ogle! I’m not saying you shouldn’t enjoy the scenes, you absolutely can. But at the end of the day, please remember to treat any and all actors, film makers and other creatives with respect. ⭐️

A quick PSA- Sebastian's new movie Monday comes out tomorrow. Yes he will have a few nude scenes in it. I have no doubt we will get flooded with gifs and pics of nude Seb.

What I will not tolerate is anyone making fun of the way he looks. Seb has openly said he suffers from body dysmorphia. If I see anyone making fun of his body, whether you follow me or not, you will be blocked.
