Wind energy is a renewable energy source which in a sense is good but its not an energy to rely on. Turbines require wind speed which can not always be supplied. On top of that wind turbines are a threat to wildlife, in the case of birds and their migration patterns or the bird itself being killed by the turbine blades. The last major downfall for wind energy is the noise pollution it creates. Wind energy has its ups though, including it being a renewable energy as well as no other pollution than noise pollution. Wind turbines are found all over the Chatham-Kent area and do not look nice in the landscape.

When you look at a plane you see a trail of condensation. When you see the trail of a air plane, but no air plane your seeing chemicals (fig 1). This is because of a controversial topic of spraying chem-trails. Chem-trails are chemicals being sprayed out of the back of a airplane to put chemicals on North America (fig 2). Many people speculate on what is really being sprayed. Threoy’s are all over the board from chemicals to help grass grow, create a layer where foreign sat alights can not receive data, or give humans medicin to become brain washed by the government (no joke). What ever it is , no doubt there spraying something, aluminum amounts in rain water has increases more then double since the 1980s. If there trying to help the environment thats one thing, but i’m not trying to get brain washed.

Trudeau cabinet approves Trans Mountain, Line 3 pipelines, rejects Northern Gateway

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet colleagues have signed off on two major pipelines, projects that will pump nearly a million more barrels of oil a day from Alberta's oilsands to global markets, if they are constructed.

The Liberals are at it again. 

For some reason Trudeau sees the fight in North Dakota and doesn't see that people don't want oil piped below their feet! Justin just approved a pipeline from the oil sands out to  the coast of British Columbia. Many First Nations groups are up in arms because the pipeline will disrupt their water source witch they need to survive. Not to mention the increased risk for a oil spill with great number of oil tankers to ship canadian oil to foreign lands. This will cause a massive response from the affected, by a pipeline and will sure stir the pot with the oil issues recently. Come on Justin.

This website is sure to shine some light onto the topic of solar energy. Solar energy is in my opinion, the safest and most reliable source of renewable energy we as humans have access to. Solar energy has become an increasingly prominent form of energy in today’s society however we still rely on oil and gas to heat our homes and power our vehicles among other activities. It is my hope that in the near future we can make solar energy our main source of fuel for human activities.

Above is a great documentary talking about a important issue facing our society. This documentary covers the practice of piping oil in the great lakes. It shows the destruction a major spill would have on all walks of life that surround the great lakes. Please take the 20 Minutes to watch this amazingly filmed documentary based on our beautiful homeland.

I personally agree with the message the director is saying with this film. Company’s do risk a lot by piping oil, and they don’t seem to do this in a very safe manor. I feel that more films like this will help raise awareness before the problem is unsolvable

Sub-urbanization

Suburban development is a catastrophe that we as humans are blind to. We overlook the damage to our environment when it comes to needs for housing. Are we really using the most sustainable form of housing? Sub-urbanization is directly or indirectly related to 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions (GGE). Dense urban centers are designed to reduce GGE by the use of public transit and being in close vicinity to necessities of life; like grocery stores for food.

Suburban development of course needs land for it to be developed and the supplies to build homes come from nature. The destruction of the environment for a form of housing that further damages the environment is in my opinion not an option at this day and age. Sustainable development must be the priority of developers if we are to protect our world.

                  Over the past 100 years our world has seen dramatic change in everything from food to automobiles. The climate is no exception to this change! Temperature has started to rise globally and it is having tremendous effects to our environment and will continue to do so unless we take charge and change the way our society functions. Looking at the graph you can see that the average yearly temperature has increased a whole degree. If we continue to increase our average global temperature at this rate we could witness events like complete loss of our glaciers and the arctic circle just by  a 2 degree increase.
