Parents and Bugs

Listening to my parents try and go to bed is probably one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard.

Okay, so my dad went in to go to bed, and my mom had just crawled into bed. My dad is trying to get ready for bed, when my mom starts saying, “There’s a bug. There’s a bug! JASON!!! THERE’S A BUG!!!!” And my dad is sighing and looking for it, while my mom is telling him there’s a bug right by her dresser. He’s like “I don’t see a bug anywhere.” And my mom gets out of bed and is like “He’s here and he’s gonna crawl into my mouth while I’m sleeping!!” And all I can hear is them scrambling around looking for the bug, finding it for a split second, my mom yelling at my dad to get it, and then losing the bug again.

The Terrible Swapping Truth

Snapchat has created something beyond a simple face swap (which quite honestly, on its own is terrifying enough). It has become the stuff from our literal nightmares. We can not only face swap with our friends and scar our relationships, but we can swap with faces that aren’t even alive! Dolls, pictures, cutouts, and cookies. As if swapping with your cat wasn't terrifying as it is!

FACT

Snow White and Cinderella share many similarities. Both are orphaned, and tormented by their stepmothers. Both are forced to wear rags and to become servants in their own homes in an attempt to hide their outer beauty. And, both remain good and kind despite their ordeals - which is ultimately what saves them.
