I placed this on my bathroom wall to inform the wasps who had moved in that they had to go. When I came home they were gone. Magic works.

Me, sooo me
You know you love your girlfriend when you are afraid of bugs but she is even more afraid, so you’ve accepted the fact you are the bug killer in the relationship
Of Bugs and Cattle Prods
My brother doesn't like bugs. He's terrified of them. He won't come near a dead spider, and he keeps a can of Raid in his bedroom. Last night he spotted a bug on his ceiling. It was quite the event. He would not sleep in there until we found it and killed it. We moved his furniture and mattress. Seriously. So today, out of the blue, he asks where he can get a cattle prod. "Does Lowe's sell them? Cause I might could use it to zap bugs from a distance."
Parents and Bugs
Listening to my parents try and go to bed is probably one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard.
Okay, so my dad went in to go to bed, and my mom had just crawled into bed. My dad is trying to get ready for bed, when my mom starts saying, “There’s a bug. There’s a bug! JASON!!! THERE’S A BUG!!!!” And my dad is sighing and looking for it, while my mom is telling him there’s a bug right by her dresser. He’s like “I don’t see a bug anywhere.” And my mom gets out of bed and is like “He’s here and he’s gonna crawl into my mouth while I’m sleeping!!” And all I can hear is them scrambling around looking for the bug, finding it for a split second, my mom yelling at my dad to get it, and then losing the bug again.
Hi! So summer's almost here and I feel kinda bad. I'm a big hockey fan and there's no hockey in the summer. Plus I don't look good in shorts. I'm afraid of bugs. With three months without school I won't have anyone to talk to except my mom. I can't wear sweaters in the summer cause I'll be too hot. I'll have to wear tank tops like other girls do even tho I don't want to. Then how can I survive? I know it's kinda stupid but I'm feeling bad and nostalgic about the winter.
Hey dear!
I love winter. I mean, I complain about the cold all the time but I’d much rather that over melting in my own puddle of bodily fluids.
There’s not much I can do about the hockey situation, unfortunately. Are there other sports that you’re interested in that can be watched or done during the summer months? Maybe try looking into other activities/hobbies? Summer is a great time to learn how to cook because there aren’t a lot of holidays around so learning how to make a couple of dishes for the hoard of holidays in the fall and winter is great for this time. I would also look into ice skating if you like being on the ice. Maybe you can get a job at a local rink?
As for shorts, you don’t have to wear shorts or tank tops. I know it’s very common but you don’t have to, you know? I know plenty of people who still wear jackets in the summer because that’s their style. I’m more accustomed to wearing skinnies in the summer even though it’s hot out. You can wear loser clothes to prevent yourself from overheating. I know some people cut their t-shirts to make them semi-tank style. Maybe you’re more into summer dresses. There are alternatives to everything so don’t feel like you have to wear shorts and tank-tops because others are. My rule in fashion is to never wear something you’re uncomfortable with. As long as you are comfortable, it doesn’t matter what the weather is you’ll be cool or warm enough.
I think trying out a few new hobbies will give you the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. I would totally check out a summer job if you’re old enough or maybe try volunteering somewhere for the summer to get yourself out of the house. It’s been proven that if you shut yourself inside long enough, you become more prone to depression. So go out and do something even if it means driving to a museum once a month and learn new things. My sister and I go to the zoo once a year in the summer just because. I’m not a huge fan of the zoo but we always go and squeal over cute animals every year.
As for the bugs.................try to not cry. I don’t like bugs either and even though it’s not as bad as a phobia but I run away whenever I see a bug. Summer is full of them so try your best to stay away from grassy areas if you’re outside and that can hep tremendously.
Nothing is stupid, love. Your feelings are valid and it’s completely normal to have these kinds of worries. <3
