I decided to check my desktop today and login to Tumblr because I was curious about how some would react and I'm being real. There's no sarcasm. What I did is called backsliding. I was very far away from God when I made this account, I didn't fear Him as much as I should have at the time. I was lonely, depressed and was looking in the wrong places for comfort I was running from Him. I was using writing about sexual scenarios with characters as an escape. I kept trying to be popular and get likes on this app because it made me feel validated. That's not how it works. I have value through the blood of Jesus Christ. I ran to things I shouldn't have and I rededicated my life in October of last year. I'm the happiest I've been in a long long time. No sarcasm here, He is a Holy God and this account is an abomination and is my past.

Update:

For those who have noticed I've been gone awhile. I find every time I get on a social media platform I start to base my self worth on likes and compare my life to others and I start to overthink and feel worthless because of these things.

I've decided to take a break. I need to figure out what I want in life. I've worn callouses on my hands from the work I do and my body is starting to hurt more I just need to take care of myself Live my life and start getting my mental health together. Ig my priorities are changing too idk y'all, I desire to see more than what I do through a screen.

It's not permanent though I'll still be on here after a bit... I'm gonna take yamatos advice.
