“Sounds perfect to me.” Hope smiled with a soft laugh as she started off to get some with her mom.
“Perfect!” Hayley headed off with her daughter. “So, talk to me about Landon.”

“Sounds perfect to me.” Hope smiled with a soft laugh as she started off to get some with her mom.
“Perfect!” Hayley headed off with her daughter. “So, talk to me about Landon.”

“I know, mama. I’m sorry,” Waverly didn’t like that she worried her mom. She knew there were a bunch of scary things that probably went through her mom’s mind. She was a Mikaelson after all. It came with a little bit of trouble just with the name.
“It’s okay, sweetheart. Just be glad it was me and not your father who was trying to contact you. At least I’m subtle.” She smirked, teasing.

Tucking some of her hair behind her ear, Jackson smiled, “Yes, though you always look beautiful, Hayley.”
Hayley smiled, a slight blush shading her cheeks. “Thanks, Jax.”

“Just wanted to decorate the house with flowers. Plus I just really love flowers.” She grinned.
“Those are both excellent reasons to get flowers.” She grinned at her niece. “and they’re beautiful too.”

It was always comforting hearing those words from her mom, “I love you too.”
“Good.” She teased with a grin. “Now, let’s go get some milkshakes, huh?”

“Yeah you look like you could use some.” He joked with a small laugh.
Hayley chuckled and ran a hand through her hair. “I look that bad, huh?”

Waverly was stunned quiet when she first saw her mom. She was in so much trouble for not answering those texts. She shouldn’t have turned off the sound. "Mom?“ she finally spoke. "I was just about to text you.” It wasn’t the biggest lie. She was about to check her phone so she wouldn’t say that it was really a lie.
“Yep, it’s me.” Hayley crossed her arms as she looked at her daughter. “Listen, I know you’re not a child anymore, but it’s really important to me to know you’re safe.” She took a deep breath. “I’m sure you were about to text me, but if you had just let me know where you were going before hand none of this would have had to happen.”

“All good Aunt Hayley.” Charlotte grinned. “Your coffee is all good as well? I mean, I didn’t spill any of it out?”
Hayley nodded and smiled. “The coffee is in excellent condition. No worries. What are the flowers for?”
“I’ve been friends with them since second grade mom” she said defending her friends as she rolled hers a little. “Well all agreed to go out tonight, Unlce Klaus know as he sent Caroline so I’m sure dad would know. But fine let me just get dressed again” she said as she slowly got out of bed still a little stoned.
“Maybe so, but that doesn’t mean they’re good friends.” Hayley sighed. Her children’s safety was always her top priority, no matter what. “Again, totally your choice whether or not you want to come.” She shrugged, but did smile slightly when Victoria said she’d get dressed and come with her.

Waverly couldn’t believe that she let her friends drag her out to a party. She wasn’t really the party type but there she was. Standing off by herself in heels that were a little bit too long, a skirt that was a little too short, and a shirt that cut a little too low. She felt completely out of place but at least she could say that she didn’t spend all her time studying which was the real point here. She sipped on the beer she got while she gently bopped to the music.
“You know, if you don’t want one of your many magical family members to use a tracking spell on you while you’re at a party maybe you should answer your mom’s calls or texts at least once so she knows you’re not lying in a ditch somewhere.” Hayley raised an eyebrow at her daughter.
“I wasn’t alone, was with friends from school” she replied with a shrug of the shoulders and sighed a little as she heard her mother’s request, “Do I have to? I’m actually comfy right now”
“Well, maybe you need better friends.” Hayley gave her a small smile. “I suppose you don’t have to but if you stay here your father will find you and I can’t promise how he’ll react.”

“Sounds perfect.” Hope smiled as she leaning into her mom for a short hug.
Hayley hugged Hope back tight. “I love you, Hope.”
Jackson started toward the woods where it was a place he always felt at home. As he started to make his way he felt a body hit into him before stopping to turn and call to them. “Hey, were are you heading to in such a rush?”
Hayley gasped when she bumped into Jackson, having been out for a run and not paying attention to where she was going. “Oh, shit, Jax, sorry. I was just getting some air.”
“Oh, don’t get me wrong, it’s cute.” the blonde’s lips curved up slowly, the slight gleam in her eye suggesting otherwise. It was fun to have a bit of back and fourth with someone, and even though they weren’t Stefan level prepared for her, no one ever was. So for now they’d do.
“Lexi, if I wanted bullshit advice I would have invited someone else. Now tell me your honest opinion.”
