you should take some time and check out portbayrp. the admin is really nice, the members are friendly and it's a really chill environment to develop a muse.

i’m sure it is all those things !! but personally, i see a few things that...turn me off of it a bit. like, not to be critical...idk if i SHOULD tell all my thoughts about it actually? because they’re probably a bit harsh. 

there’s other things that raise red flags for me, but. the one i’m willing to say out loud is that when there’s a banned fc list a mile long but several questionable fcs in the actual rp...nah. thanks but not for me.

definitely a fun concept !! i don’t think it’s like, for me specifically - sometimes things just aren’t, you know? but i think some people would really enjoy it, it sounds fun and a bit different, which is always nice to see.

highsocietyhq is definitely a rec if you're looking for a plot-heavy and a dedicated group! it isn't the busiest group but it's been around for years so it won't be disappearing anywhere. the members are welcoming and plotting is often super easy due to the intricate plot! pro tip is to fill a wanted connection bc that makes it easier to start out and get to know the plot really well

ljdfns i feel like this is a member come to tell me to join and i enjoy that. i DO have a bit of a thiiiiing about rps that’ve been around for ages - i think like a lot of people, i find it intimidating joining very well established groups. even when they’re welcoming, you can sort of...feel like you’re on the outside, i guess, because there are people who’ve been doing this for a long time and have very established characters, and there are a lot of things to catch up on and stuff. it can very much be a hit-or-miss. i normally end up, like, sitting around weighing up the energy it’s gonna take to send in a long app & join & stuff vs the potential reward and then just deciding to take a nap instead. 

but for other people who aren’t so lazy, the filling a wc tip IS actually a really good one, generally that can help give u some pre-established connections and stuff and give you a bit more of a place to start. ANYWAY idk this is just me rambling, i have made 0 decisions, i want a nap and i just woke up lmao

i mean i do love drama! i’m checking it out now, and it’s. a bit overwhelming, there’s a lot going on here! i’m kinda into it tho? like. the Drama of royal shit could be fun? i guess it’s sorta like an au universe or whatever? there’s a lot to kind of read and get ur brain around before you can just dive in, i guess, but i’d be into giving it a shot maybe? 

of course the last post was over a day ago i think. so. judging by my luck lately, that could be a bad sign :/

that and the app is. there’s so much to do. i’m interested but am i THAT interested? who knows

i have now! i’m not sure the whole plot is for me, it seems a bit. idk. i guess i get it, the idea is people leaving bad relationships to ‘heal’, but. idk. sometimes u just feel funny about something and u gotta trust ur gut, you know? if you’re into it, go wild, i just don’t think it’s something i wanna get into.

okay this is nothing on the rp - it looks good, i’m sure it’s great - but what is UP with all the murder-mystery style rps at the moment? everywhere i look it’s like, we’re in a small town or a college or whatever and someone is missing or has been mysteriously murdered and it’s like. wow. is there a serial killer who preys on small towns and colleges on the loose? is that what’s happening here? 

there is, for the record, nothing wrong with it, it’s just not normally my thing. i’m honestly looking for something chill and...idk where no one’s dying or anything. a little less serious, yknow? there just seem to be quite a lot of rps with similar plots to this around at the moment. which, there have always been these plots, but there seem to be more than usual? and i’m like? what’s the DEAL what CAUSED this to be a trend? i’m curious. someone explain.
