''I'm glad you agree.'' Kagura says with a nod as well, gobbling down the rest of her plate. However, when Haru spoke about what she had dealt with, Kagura listens intently as she'd put her bowl down. ''I have to agree. Friends really do make everything better, right?'' That's how Kagura felt, moving to Earth was one of the best decisions she ever made. It allowed her to grow as a person, and move on from the past too.

When asked about herself, she does freeze slightly. Turning away, as she sits back on the couch and folds her legs. ''I uh. . . yeah.'' The young Yato put on a rather melancholic smile, since her childhood was definitely not one she happily looked back on. Aside from minor moments here and there.

''I have an older brother. He took care of me, basically like a third parent I guess you can say since my mami was sick a lot. I was really, really young at the time, so I don't remember a whole lot, just. . . him looking sad because our papi was always gone trying to find a cure for mami.''

She folds her arms behind her head in a lax position, a frown forming on her lips as she gazed down at the floor. ''Then my brother got really mad at papi for always leaving, and some stuff happened and he left.'' Kagura kept certain parts vague since it was rather personal, and probably the stuff with Kamui would be something he'd prefer Kagura not openly talking about unless he gave permission. ''So I was just with my mami until she. . . . yeah.'' Her words trail off, quiet for a few moments.

''My papi only came very rarely after everyone else was gone, it was suuuuper lonely on that planet, and I eventually came to Earth on my own and found a new family. Gin-chan, Shinpachi, Boss Lady, Tama, the old hag, Kyu-chan, Tsu-ki, Sacchan, Soyo-chan, and more. Lots and lots of people who became family and made me feel so much less lonely.'' She then sits up and served herself more rice, ''My big brother also eventually came back into my life too, he regrets a lot and visits me sometimes. Which I appreciate since I love him a lot. It's never lonely anymore, and I'm grateful for that.'' She warmly says, with a soft smile on her face.

Haru’s often heard that was the case, where the older sibling ends up something like a tertiary parent for their younger siblings. A role they were simply born into as a product of being born first rather than it being a culmination of ‘wow you would do well nurturing children’. Some excelled in being a good elder sibling and some… not so much.

“Ah, Haru’s sorry to hear about your Mami-san. It couldn’t have been easy facing loss at such a young age with your father rarely being around either.” It didn’t sound like there was much emotional stability and regulation there that would’ve been necessary for a child who had gone through a traumatic experience of a parent dying. Her elder brother, probably not that much older than her probably needed the same, but couldn’t get it. Understandable that he’d lash out at their father and eventually leave.

That did unfortunately leave Kagura all on her own for some time from the sounds of it.

It was lovely to know that Kagura had found herself a new family here on Earth. She was a bit curious about all the affectionate sounding names and the one ‘old hag’ in the middle. Was that supposed to be an affectionate term of endearment? Her mind flashes through the various nicknames some of her friends use for each other, and… yep, probably some kind of term of endearment.

“It’s good that you reconnected again~ You have such a big network now that your Mami and your brother can rest easy knowing that you are well loved and cared for.” She does note that her father wasn’t mentioned for after Kagura arrived on Earth, so maybe they hadn’t reconnected yet. Perhaps that made sense, if he had always been away from home. It would be hard to find someone in the vast universe. She had enough emotional intelligence to know not to bring that up herself. The topic of parents already seemed a bit touchy from the get go, after all.

“Being lonely is never fun, and waiting for people to return is hard,” she takes a bite of her food, reflecting on when her friends would go off and do some dangerous things, and she’d be waiting for them to come back anxiously. Usually, they came back with severe injuries. “The people who often go out and do dangerous things take it for granted, that they don’t have to keep waiting anxiously for any sort of news: good or bad.”

“That’s what makes the reunion all the sweeter though, the relief in knowing that they’re back. Then you can have a fun little party~ Haru sometimes helps out with all the cooking.” She watches as Kagura got herself another helping of food. "Haru could cook something for you later if you'd like."

"Hm. Hmmmmm. If I recall, Goku-chan actually performed a Japanese exorcism on Muku-chan when they fought and it worked? He might have been pulling Goku-chan's leg though but I kind of doubt it..."

Water guns and holy water. How had he never thought to try those on Mukuro before? "Now that would be enjoyable, at the very least." Oh if only people knew that one of the universe's biggest monsters liked playing child games with his human friend. He would never be taken seriously ever again.

"I can just see his irritated face as he tries to pretend he isn't bothered."

"Did he?" She was going to have to ask him about that. It sounded like it would be a fascinating story to ask Mukuro about in the future- you know, just to irritate him! Being irritated can get the heart pumping and she's only looking out for his heart health! She's certainly not always testing to see if he had a heart, no no.

She giggles, "it's good to let loose and have fun with friends every now and again, and if being silly helps achieve that goal, Haru can be very silly." She's admittedly also just curious to know if he'd be affected by holy water.

Maybe it would only affect him if he had possessed someone? "Maybe it'll only work if he possesses someone. Could you imagine squirting someone with holy water and they start acting differently because Mukuro-san got ousted out?" What a funny scene that would be!

"I don't know anything about dealing with fans." He admitted, a bit of irritation on his face. It was out of his field of expertise, and it wasn't like any of his teachers or coaches knew anything about it. "They know where I live, they know where my school is, what classes I take, my schedule. There's no privacy."

It drove him up the walls, and sneaking out at night was really his only escape from the hell that was his life. Still, he forced himself to breathe. At least the topic about mountain skateboarding wasn't a lingering thought to her.

"But everyone else is happy about it, so I can tolerate this. It's just a bit annoying sometimes."

Haru pauses, "they haven't followed you home to harass you, have they? This is sounding like rather than fans, you have stalkers." There was a very line that separated fans and stalkers.

"It's good to be happy that others are happy... but your comfort and privacy also matter." You see it so often with a lot of kid stars, they end up acting out because of all the pressure and the lack of privacy. It would be a shame for that to happen to Miya. He did seem to be a good kid, after all.

She notices that her words probably came off as a bit... naggy? That was something that Gokudera was often scolding her for. "Sorry, Haru is being too nosey, right? Haru's friends dealt with stalkers and annoying fans... so Haru gets a bit concerned when she sees others going through the same thing. Kyoko-chan is a school idol, but she has her older brother and some friends who will protect her from weirdos." Boy dis she have a lot of weirdos who went after her.

Some of it was mafia related... but Miya didn't need to know that.

Haru was excitedly fussing about a costume that she spent a lot of time on and- did she hear 'mandom' just now? What's that? 'Seems like a word that Lambo-chan would like.'

"Hahi?" She turns and doesn't see anyone at first, but she looks down to see a little girl talking to her. "Oh, this? That's right, Haru made it herself, thank you for the compliment." Haru giggles. "You've quite the discerning eye. Impressive-desu."

((Just throwing this post on here to be like I haven't really been on much because work has burnt me out and family stuff going on again so my mood is just- yeah.

Aside from all that, I'm doing fine. Idk when exactly I'll have the energy/motivation again to write, but hopefully soon! Miss y'all!))

"Yeah of course!" Already hers and she is already his. Makes one smile and be bashful all in one. Is the one who starts the hug for cuddles. "Let's find a good place to cuddle. A secret good place."

"Good~" Haru excitedly holds his hand in hers in search of a place that they could cuddle at, away from the eyes of others. "Hmmm where would be a good place?"

"Really...? Ah, that's awesome - thanks Haru...!" He never thought he'd be so excited about doing crafts and yet - when he thought about the last time they had sat down and diligently worked away at something together...he'd had genuine fun! Sure, it had been a bit challenging but also rewarding too! "Origami stars...? No, I've never made those before but they sound pretty cool!" He beams, almost immediately on board with the idea. "Does this crafts store also have paper that we're gonna need to make these stars or d'you have that covered...?" He asks, looking over at her. "Either way, count me in!"

"The crafts store will definitely have the paper that we need. They sell many different designs and colors~" Haru lead the way to the store and she made her way to the origami section and there she found the origami star paper strips. "Haru finds that the shiny and glossy ones are cute, but they tend to be a bit harder to work with because they're slippery. Thicker paper like these are nice and robust, but a bit harder to pinch. Haru would recommend papers that feel like regular paper.

Haru looked through and picked a few paper bundles for herself in green, pink, blue, and purple. "We can pick out a jar next~"

"...You're serious about this." The words weren't framed as a question. At three feet, it would be easy to grab someone stupid enough to believe this before they could end up lying at the bottom. Inuyasha's preparation, however, was unnecessary. To his absolute bewilderment, exactly what Haru said was happening. There she was, just floating there like a large log atop a standing lake. But Haru wasn't a hollow log, she was a person. There shouldn't have been any natural buoyancy to a living person, they had bones in there!

"Has it really been that easy this entire time...?" It looked effortless, and in fairness, the many times he'd found himself in deep water (almost never by choice), he'd never tried just... lying on his back like that. How many near death experiences would that have saved him? If there was ever a time he felt like the biggest idiot alive, it was now. The very concept that you could just straighten your posture, and you'd float to the surface.

"Keh, I don't need those things." If it was as simple as lying down, who had a use for tools? When Inuyasha attempted the same motions he wasn't... quite as graceful. Or slow. The man just sort of tried flopping over on his back. With it came a splash, and a full axis turn of Inuyasha's body. The attempt was partially successful.

Inuyasha was floating.

On his belly.

Meaning his front was submerged, not his back.

"Haru." If her name could even be understood through the garbled mess that sent a flurry of bubbles out. "This ain't gonna save me from shit." For a short period, he was a little too deadpanned in irritation to even bother moving. But oxygen was certainly a thing, and a yōkai needed more of it than humans. By extension, so did a hanyō. It was with the force of his legs that Inuyasha was able to correct himself back into standing waist deep, spitting out the water that had gotten into his mouth, and taking in deep breaths.

"What good does floating do a hanyō if they float on their fucking bellies like that?" His tone as as flat as his expression. "Keh, this water tastes like shit."

“Haru is very serious,” she nods her head in agreement. If she resolved herself to help someone learn how to swim, she was going to do her absolute best. Leading by example was always great in teaching someone anything, especially if there was some skepticism involved- and it looked like it was working!

“It’s actually deceptively difficult, floating on your back. Haru will keep them off to the side for now for just in case you’ll want to use it later.” She watches as he attempts to float on his back… or rather… his stomach? She watched it happen, but she was still a bit confused on how it happened.

Was it something like a difference in his physiology that made it so it was easier for him to float on his stomach than on his back? She could imagine that would be the case for being that had wings or maybe a wide tail, but maybe it was something like bone density or muscle distribution?

Reaching for a towel she prepared, she hands it to Inuyasha so he can dry off his face, and maybe clean the water from his ears if they got water-logged. “Hopefully you didn’t drink too much of the chlorinated water, it’s not good to ingest too much of it.” You could poison yourself if you had too much (and that was the case for most things). “It is best to keep your body relaxed, leaning your head back slightly in order to float on your back… but maybe your body finds it easier to float on the front?”

She has to think about it. There was a chance they’d have to change things because his body make up may be different enough from humans that the human way wouldn’t quite cut it. “You could learn the swimming strokes where you swim on your front.”

She stares at the floatation devices from before, wondering if they would be useful here. “On the bright side… we know that you can float on your stomach? See? You won’t sink like a rock! That’s a positive!” They’ve confirmed that he won’t absolutely sink to the bottom of the water from his denser bone structure! “Maybe we can try to get you to learn how to tread water? Or maybe getting you used to some of the movements would be more beneficial.” She looks at the floatation devices again. They could be used so he only had to focus on the movements and not have to worry about sinking. “Here, if you slide these onto your arms, you won’t sink into the water.” She hands him some floaties and she pulls herself out of the pool.

“When trying to tread water, you keep yourself upright in water. You got to move your legs like so. This movement pushes the water around you so you stay above water.”

"Haru, please, don't move." Alex tried to do her friend's hair for their girls night out.. In other words: Girls time.

Haru had her hair down per Alex's request and she sat herself down on a throw pillow for her friend to do her hair. She trusted her to work some magic with her hair.

There's no way Alex-chan would allow Haru to go outside looking a mess, so she had full faith in her. "Haru has a lot of clips and ties if you need them in the box on Haru's desk."

Haru was looking around for her school ID because she couldn't find it in her bag. She must've dropped it and not noticed while she was running around doing some errands.

She'd only noticed by the time she returned home and started unpacking her bag. Retracing her steps in hopes of finding her ID wasn't proving very fruitful yet, but she had hope!

It was either still waiting for her, or someone had found it and handed it off to the authorities. She hears a voice, and she turns to see girl holding her ID! She'd recognize it because she made a custom case to carry it around.

"Hahi! Thank you so much! Haru was looking everywhere for it!" What a relief! It would've been bad if she'd lost her ID! "How can Haru thank you? Perhaps a crepe?"
