Kudzai waltzed up to the nurses, handed one of them a file then looked at Rhi “I hope you told Vlad that we’re going out. I don’t need him accusing me of stealing you from him.” Kudzai teased
“He knows, I gave him the warning this morning.” She grinned, “Shall we?”

“That gives me enough time to check on a patient. I’ll meet you by the nurses station.”
“Perfect, I’ll meet you there.” Sure enough, once the time had passed, Rhiannon waited by the nurses’ station.

“He’s fine, thank you. I was told Kudzai had taken care of him at the hospital, was I mistaken?”
“Not at all, she did. If I had been there I would have assisted her.”

Clara sat at the bar and traced her finger around the rim of her glass. She heard the footsteps walk in confidently before stopping. “You don’t have to go. There’s plenty of space even if you don’t want to sit next to me.”
