Hey y'all! So I guess I'm making a comeback here now that Twitter's fate is uncertain?

lately i’ve been developing a little horror/fantasy rpg concept in my freetime. here are some classes! i would like to know which one you like the most ( ◞・౪・)
lotsa stuff for my horror fantasy ttrpg concept, which im tagging as #fellgrave! up top are “curses”, which function like races/species. the game assumes your character starts as human and acquires a curse in some way. the wave of curses afflicting the kingdom of fellgrave is referred to as the “scourge”.
and then below is an example of one of a few factions, the votaries of the obelisk. the factions vary in terms of mortality, the votaries are very close to the lower end of that scale hahaha
i’m still working on this project, thanks so much for your support and interest with it!!
Emily Carroll
I reblog this every time I see it, because the part that makes this so horrific to me, is that the room is a direct callback to Goodnight Moon. It takes this memory of safety and security and turns it directly upside down and I love it.
hey so Emily Carroll is my absolute favorite horror artist and her stories are some of the greatest things i’ve ever had the ghastly pleasure to read. many of her comics are free online, such as the classic His Face All Red
This gave me chills

Those two comments made my day.

concept: crowley with a roomba
i can’t decide if he’d bully it like his plants if it wasn’t vacuuming quickly enough, or alternatively, he’d TRY to bully it but then it beeps at him and he can’t bring himself to and it just becomes his Pet Roomba That He Loves But Won’t Admit That He Loves Because He Is A Demon And It Is A Robot
#the roomba bullies him (via ratkingbrady)
yes. he tries to get rid of it but he can’t bring himself to so now the roomba is just terrorizing him in his own home. but at least his floors are clean
he can’t walk around without the roomba sniping his ankles
the roomba likes aziraphale, it just purrs when he’s around. crowley only gets sniped when noone else is around to witness it.
Aziraphale LOVES the roomba. He thinks it’s cute, he wants to get one for the shop, but he’s worrried it would knock piles of books over or something. He ‘feeds’ it crumbs and tells it it’s a “good roomba”.
Crowley just glares at it through all of this, knowing he won’t be believed if he complains about how much its victimising him and watches it acting all innocent.
Aziraphale leaves, Crowley gets up and feels a pain in his ankle. “You are not a good roomba.” he growls.
I’m pretty sure there’s something in the book about machinery they use working according to their belief (like how Crowley’s sound system doesn’t have any speakers but works anyway because he doesn’t know you need speakers)
So really there’s two possibilities here:
(Humorous) Crowley believes the roomba is out to get him (possibly because it unknowingly bumps into his feet a few times the first night), and so, therefore, it is. Aziraphale believes the roomba is very cute and reminiscent of a small, loving pet, and so, around him, it is.
(Angst) It’s Crowley’s roomba, which makes it attuned to his thoughts and perceptions of the world, and so it treats people differently according to how much Crowley likes them.
Oh NO.
@thebibliosphere have you seen this yet?
Considering Oppy tried to jump over my foot this morning rather than go around it like a sensible robot vacuum, I agree with Crowley.
broke: supernatural creatures comparing humans to worms, ants or any other insect creatures in a hateful tone
woke: supernatural creatures in awe of the shit humans do/put up with given their limited abilities
“wh. what do you mean your limbs dont regenerate. so if you lose one, you just gotta…deal with it?”
“yeah?”
bespoke: humans making up stupid limitations just to fuck with the supernatural beings
Steve, an absolute trashbag who loves to fuck with ppl in general: “Yeah so we as humans aren’t able to injest water during a full moon because of how potent the lunar pull on it is.”

“jealousy is so disgusting” “anger is so toxic” did u know? these are emotions every human has
I’ve always been a fan of an analogy I heard once. Your emotions are like one of the lights on your car’s dash. When one of them turns on, it means you need to check under the hood and fix them. It’s not bad that the light turned on, per se, and it doesn’t always mean something is broken. But what IS toxic, dangerous, and likely to break something, is when you let that light stay on, pretending it’s normal, until that braking fluid finally fails and you crash into someone, or your engine fails completely.
Feel jealous. Feel anger.
Just don’t let it fester. You need to look inside of yourself, find out why you’re feeling the way you are, and bring yourself to a satisfied, stable state of mind. You can look at philosophy, meditation/introspection, religion, or actual therapy, or at least talking to someone about it. You’ll find you’re much more content and happy when you do something about those feelings, and come to some sort of conclusion or resolution.
That is a wonderful way of looking at it, thankyou. Makes me feel better about myself when I DO feel that way.

As they came into the light, you couldn’t help but retch at the sight before you.
Something is wrong. Very, very wrong. A sudden mess of screeching and ringing caused you to clap your hands around your ears, and you felt as if your head was going to explode. Among the horrible sounds, you hear three voices speak at once:
“I AM MR. EON” “I AM MR. EON” “I AM MR. EON”
