Sick of this fandom using black baby sprites as the joke. It's not fucking funny. It wasn't funny in The Royal Heir and certainly isn't funny in Baby Bump. The choice wasn't given for your racist entertainment.
I really don’t think anything will happen between Harper and Ethan, because one he’s clearly in love with MC, if you romance him, and two she doesn’t seem like she still has feelings for him. It’s been like three years since they were together. This storyline is too late in the story and their relationship to be interesting. It would’ve made since in book 2 when Harper had just stepped down from being his boss and he was trying to keep his relationship with MC professional. I feel like the writers are doing this to stir up insecurities for the MC, and apparently the Ethan stans, for the sake of drama and conflict. So, keep it cute when talking about Harper she has been nothing but nice to the MC. We all know that Ethan’s going to end up with MC, if you so choose.
If this book ends with us being able to beat the brakes off of Adelaide I will take back everything I said negatively about it up until this point. And no amount of her looking regretful is going to change that. I want the MC to stomp her alcoholic ass into the marble flooring.
And I want Barthlemey dead but I feel like that went without saying.

Once again I ask why isn’t Esme just owning up to what she did instead of waiting for this to blow up in her face? She hasn’t even fully confided in the MC about it and now they’re in an uncomfortable position to either throw her under the bus or protect her without even knowing what really happened. What she did was careless, whether if it was intentional or accidental. I just wish she’d be a grown woman about the situation instead of giving the MC sad, puppy dog eyes every scene she’s in like they can wave a magical wand and make this lawsuit go away.
Ok but how do you always say what I’m thinking. I lowkey said she did it on purpose specifically for this reason
I don’t know how she expects for us to vouch for her when she hasn’t given us anything to work with. She has been so vague about what really happened. Like girl, there are other people’s jobs on the line because of something you did. Regardless of how it happened, a man is dead because of you. Own up to it.
not to sound cruel but however i love esme, i am not comfortable with the idea of people losing their jobs because of her lawsuit when she says nothing about what happened with levi that day.
she literally gives us nothing to defend her- and honestly, she shouldn't be angry at mc for throwing her under the bus. like mc, she should have done the right thing and come clean. no matter what happened that day. either it was on purpose or not. because the whole issue is bigger than just her future, its the whole hospital's future now.

I know people have their opinions about the VIP books but they are better written than nearly all of the books that are currently updating. Like The Unexpected Heiress, for example, is so good. PB challenged all of their talent into those books for sure.
Is it just me or has Open Heart been boring as hell lately? It came back so strong but now it’s slowly fizzling out. And this storyline with Esme can go somewhere. Whether if she killed Levi purposefully or accidentally it was stupid and I’d wish she would just take responsibility. The MC did something similarly but at least she owned her actions openly instead of cowering around the hospital waiting for the shoe to drop.
I have been taking a much needed break from talking about Choices for the past few months because there hasn’t been much to say in regards to the books that have been released lately, but I have to vent about today’s chapter of TRH. What in the malevolent fuck is this storyline exactly? I swear Cordonia has the most fickle citizens, all the way from the nobility down to the lowliest of commoners. How many times are MC and company going to have to convince these people that they are fit rule their own country? You mean to tell me that this decrepit bitch who has been MIA for over a decade is able to come back and sway public opinion with just a few empty promises? What has this man actually shown through his actions that suggest he is fit to be a ruler? How are citizens of Lythikos able to spout treasonous language out openly in the streets without consequence? If your LI is Liam, how are people able to openly disrespect the Queen in front of the King, the man who holds the highest office in the country, and the MC is expected to just grin and bare it? And don’t get me started on Olivia this chapter. She has been unwaveringly loyal for the longest and now all of a sudden we have to prove ourselves to her as well because her citizens have suddenly decided they don’t fuck with the MC. Nothing anyone says or does make a lick of sense. If I was MC I would’ve took my baby, chucked up the deuces, and took my ass to some remote island and let Barthelemy lead Cordonia straight to hell. Liam could come if he likes but I would’ve been dipped.

Okay so in case y'all don’t know, this is from Pose. A series about the black trans community and ball culture in new York during the 80’s. Its got vogueing, lgbt+ culture, history, drama, romance, comedy, tragedy. Its wonderful and historically accurate and all the trans people are played by real trans actors.
This is so good I had to reblog it on both of my blogs.
Last thing:
People are saying that PB promised to listen to us in their open letter, and that DS and QB are examples of them not listening to us. I’m with you there, but I also want people to remember that these two books were written before the open letter was sent out.
I didn’t expect the effects of the campaign to be instantaneous. We’re in that weird transitional phase now where they’re releasing books they had coming down the pipe for a while, and many of them do fall into PB’s old ways of storytelling. I’m HOPING that the books coming out in late summer/fall will align more with what they promised us. Because, by the fall, they’ve had a sufficient amount of time to get their shit together.
Also I want to point out that Oliver (CEO of PB) said in the letter that it wouldn’t be so immediate anyway, but that we would see it gradually happen over the rest of this year, as Naja has pointed out.
I am of two minds with Sofia.
I get why she would wnat to see it as a one side crush, because she wants to trust Sam, but I hate the classist way she approached it and all the idea of going after the other woman and not the person cheating. When it comes out, she better be furious at Sam and not MC because Sam is the one who betrayed her.
i’m not a racist and i will educate myself. no i won’t. yes. no ❤️
Non-Black people (specifically the hwhites) love saying shit like “can we all stop saying “cancel culture,” “problematic,” “woke” etc” as if they weren’t the ones who appropriated the words, used them to the point of exhaustion and now caused them to be devoid of their original meanings and usage …
Whew the delusion …
