Hi everyone! Iām Massiah, a Black 21-year-old physically disabled lesbian. In 2016, I wrote a poem called āBrown Roseā to remind Black women that we are more than the hardships and stereotypes that we face. I showed it to a family member shortly after writing it and she loved it and wanted to put the last few lines of the poem on t-shirts. I gave her permission to do so. We sold a good amount of shirts amongst family and friends, but my heart wasnāt in it. Until now. Iāve revamped the entire conceptāfrom color palettes to font selections to design to the brand itselfāand now Iām just dying to share it with the world.

As a physically disabled person and a stubborn Aquarius who just cannot handle doing things I donāt absolutely love, I am unable to work a job that provides me with an income steady enough to fund a project like this.
