Load out was the hardest part of playing a show. It wasnât like she knew her way around, and it was her label that booked everything she did, so she didnât even know the promoter anymore. But at least the names on the billboard outside of the venue were good ones. At least the room had been full based on buzz around her name, but in reality probably more for the local bands that played with her. Her band had their stuff outside, every member with a cigarette in their mouth as the little brunette struggled with her gear and merch, sheâd already split it into two trips and was still struggling with everything. She hadnât been able to change yet, but it was far too cold for her to be out in just her shorts and tank top. She threw her baggy coat on top to try to keep warm, left open in her hurry to just get loaded out. Her hands were entirely full when her merch box fell off of the pile in her arms. âShit.â She hissed and looked around her for someone to help her. âExcuse me,â she said when someone started to pass by, âIâm sorry, I dropped my box and Iâm not able to grab it, could you give me a hand?âÂ
Eudora wasnât even supposed to be here. Her manager had advised her not to go off on her own but sometimes a girl needed a quick break and with her cap on itâs not like she would stumble into anyone that she knew her or people would recognize her. Sure she might have been clambering as an actress but she was far from a grade-A meaning that she would or at least should be able to roam freely and enjoy the what the city had to offer. It had been a long time since the last time she had entertained herself with a concert. Concerts were risky no matter how small the capacity but Eudora had had enough of sticking around in hotel rooms and reading over scripts that she was starting to not enjoy. After she managed to sneak out of the hotel she pulled her cap lower as she walked farther into the place. She was surprised when she saw someone struggling with her belongings. Was she backstage? Shit. She didnât think she was supposed to be here. Already caught though Eudora used all that she could to keep composure. She smiled at the girl. âSure.â She walked over and kneeled down to grab the box. âHere. Are you doing alright on your own?âÂ
