Lorna was raised in Africa by her father. After he died after being mauled by a lion, Lorna then was trained by her father's friend Chief M'tuba and learned aboriginal skills, honing proficiency with knife and spear. She developed an almost mystical rapport with native animals, particularly with the chimpanzee Mikki. After being trained she became a protector of the jungle and befriending natives, government authorities and an explorer named Greg Knight. She first appeared in Lorna the Jungle Queen #1

Camilla was originally an immortal monarch of a kingdom of former Vikings, who had supposedly gotten lost on their way to the Crusades, when she first appeared in Jungle Comics #1 (1940) However, around 1942 she rebooted as a protector of the jungle, similar to Sheena and ran through Jungle Comics until #151
Femforce #70 pg 16 by Bill Black pencils and Dell Barras Inks
Femforce was a comic book published by AC Comics detailing the adventures of the female heroines, some of them original creations, while others originated in the 1940s and 1950s.
Had to purchase this because it had 4 of my favorite jungle girls, Nyoka the Jungle Girl (1945), Princess Pantha (1946), Tygra of the Flame People (1947) and Cave Girl (1952)
Tygra of the Flame People Commission by Kenny Calderon.
Lynn Thomas became Tygra, the leader of the Fire People, after her plane crashed in the Fire People's territory. She gained superhuman strength after drinking an experimental drug that she had been trying to deliver to the Fire People. She first appearing in Startling Comics #45 (May 1947). Although she had a short run, she was a favorite of my mine.
This is a Photostat of Jungle Comics #55 staring Camilla Queen of the Jungle Empire, which was later reprinted in Kaanga Comics #7 (Spring 1951), where the character's name was officially changed to Jessie the Jungle Girl with different word bubbles with a semi different story.
