Oh hey, that's 2011 Tygra in those hearts!
Please be good.
Tygra Thoughts/Head-canons
Does anyone think Tygra is maybe lonelier and more hungry for answers/finding some kind of meaning after the destruction of Thundera because he's the only ThunderCat whose clan originates from Asia? Everyone else can trace the type of cat/what clan they are back to Africa, but not him. It's one thing to be one of the last of your kind, the last of your clan, it's yet another to be the last from your entire continent.
Not only is he isolated by being effectively the leader of the ThunderCats until Lion-O is grown, he also, beyond being from the same planet, might not even have the same or similar cultural background than the rest of his fellow survivors. Assuming Thundera's various feline clans mapped out similarly on their world as their real cat equivalents do on Earth.
One of the best quotes in the entire show comes from him "Because it is our tradition... It gives our lives form, tells us who we are and what we must do." from Lion-O's Trial of Mind Power. It's obviously an incredibly important theme for the Thundercats as a small band of genocide survivors but it's extra potent coming from him.
Then he calls Bengali "brother", going from being the last potentially of an entire continent to being the only other ThunderCat than the Wilytwins with a fellow survivor from his own clan is bittersweet and crazy.
