Support LGBTQI+ Refugees in Urgent Need
Hello everyone, my name is Ricky. I am a queer refugee in Sout… Julie Santonja a besoin de votre soutien pour Support LGBTQ people in ref
Hello friends,
My name is patrick, and I am a queer refugee currently living in a refugee camp. I am writing to share my story and explain why I am seeking your support.
Being queer has profoundly shaped my life. Because of my sexual orientation and/or gender identity, I have experienced discrimination, rejection, and threats to my safety. I was forced to leave my home in search of protection, hoping to find a place where I could live with dignity and without fear.
Unfortunately, even in the refugee camp, I continue to face stigma, harassment, and insecurity because of who I am. These experiences have affected my physical and emotional well-being and have made it difficult to access opportunities and live safely.
Despite these challenges, I remain hopeful. I believe that every person deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and equality, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. I want the opportunity to live safely, rebuild my life, and contribute positively to my community.
I am reaching out because I believe in your commitment to protecting and supporting LGBTQ+ people. Any assistance, guidance, or advocacy you can provide would make a meaningful difference in my life.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering my request. I deeply appreciate your compassion and the work you do to support us ❤️
We urgently need your kindness and support. Among our group are refugees who were born with HIV and rely on life-saving medication. To stay healthy, they also need proper nutrition and regular medical care, but we cannot afford these basic necessities.
Others in our group are suffering from serious stomach conditions, including ulcers, and they live with constant pain because they cannot access treatment or the medicines they need.
We are doing our best to support one another, but the challenges are overwhelming. Any help, whether through a donation or by sharing our story, can make a real difference. Your compassion and generosity could help save lives and bring hope to people who are struggling every day.
Thank you for caring and for standing with us during this difficult time. Here is our fundraiser [https://gofund.me/fd0c380c7]
Even though we face many challenges every day—hunger, insecurity, illness, and many other hardships in the camp—we still find moments of joy. When we come together, we laugh, encourage one another, share what little we have, and remind each other that we are not alone.
We are more than a group of people living in difficult circumstances—we are one family. We support each other, care for one another, and hold onto hope for a better future.
Your kindness and support help keep that hope alive. Thank you to everyone who stands with us and reminds us that we are not forgotten. ❤️
The rainy season has become another daily struggle for us here in Gorom refugee camp. Our shelters are leaking badly, and many of us have no way to keep ourselves or the children dry. We spend nights trying to protect ourselves from the rain, but water still gets inside.
The rain also leaves stagnant water around our shelters, creating breeding places for mosquitoes. As a result, malaria and other illnesses are becoming more common, especially among children and those with weakened health.
We are asking for your kindness and support. Your donation, no matter how small, can help us buy tarpaulins, repair our shelters, get mosquito nets, and meet other urgent needs during this difficult season.
If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing our story. Your support gives us hope and helps us survive.
Thank you for standing with us. ❤️
Every donation, no matter the size, helps us survive another day.
We are still in urgent need of food, medicine, clean water, and other basic necessities. If you have already donated, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness has made a real difference.
If you are able, please consider donating or sharing our fundraiser with others. We rely on the compassion and generosity of people who care. Your kindness gives us hope and helps us keep going through these difficult times.
Thank you for standing with us and for reminding us that we are not alone. ❤️
Hello again, everyone. ❤️
Thank you for finding our new account after our previous one was closed. Starting over is difficult, but we are grateful to everyone who has chosen to follow our story again.
We are LGBTQ+ refugees facing daily challenges, including finding enough food, accessing healthcare, and meeting other basic needs. We are continuing our fundraiser because these needs have not gone away.
If you are able to help, please consider supporting our fundraiser. If donating isn't possible, sharing or reblogging our posts can make a huge difference by helping our story reach more compassionate people.
Every act of kindness, no matter how small, gives us hope and reminds us that we are not alone.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and standing with us. Your compassion means the world to us.
Hello everyone. 💙
Our previous Tumblr account was terminated because it contained graphic images documenting the difficult conditions we are living through. We understand and respect the platform's rules, so we have created this new account to continue sharing our story in a safer way.
We are a community of LGBTQ+ refugees facing many daily challenges, and we are hoping to connect with kind-hearted people who believe in compassion, dignity, and helping those in need.
If you come across our posts, please consider following, sharing, or supporting our fundraiser if you are able. Even if you cannot donate, reblogging our posts helps our story reach people who may be able to help.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
