Hi, welcome to my blog! In this blog, I will post polls for the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone is allowed to submit polls and/or posts and there basically are no off-limit questions as long as they don't invade anyone's privacy. Please be respectful towards all people, disrespecting anyone won't be tolerated. So, as stated in my bio, my name's Jamie and I live in Germany. I speak German and English. I'm a lesbian that uses she/her pronouns. My polls are tagged with #Jamie's poll.

My friend is helping me with the blog, so let's introduce her too. Her name is Iliana, she uses she/her pronouns, speaks German and English and she's currently questioning her identity but she is sure she is queer. Her polls are tagged with #Iliana's poll.

I absolutely love music (mostly rock and metal) and I'm a book nerd. I also have an unhealthy obsession with horror movies.

Enough about me, let's talk about guide lines:

You can ask 18+ asks/polls but it is up to me if I decide to post them and/or change them a little. As mentioned in my bio, there is nothing off-limits but it should be suitable for minors.

Insulting people will have you blocked. This is a safespace, everyone here is valid.

Remember that there is a 12-option limit on polls and one of them will be "See results" (there's an exeption, if you want me to not add the results option in a specific poll, I won't add it), so you have 11 options. However, I can choose which ones I'm actually posting, even though I try to stay as close to the submission as possible.

Also, voting on a poll is completely anonymous.

Feel free to ask stuff you're not sure about. I'm trying to help each and everyone of you. You can also dm me if you want me to privately answer your question.

About the dms: you can basically dm me to just talk, answer a question or for whatever other reasons, so dms are always open to everyone unless stated otherwise. One thing though: please don't send any inappropriate messages.

The 2025 Gender Census is now open!

The 12th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 30th August 2025.

It’s short and easy, for most participants it takes 5 minutes or less.

After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

If you think you might have friends and followers who’d be interested, please do reblog this blog post, and share the survey URL by email or at AFK social groups or on other social networks. Every share is extremely helpful!
