*The actual phrase is “written communication” which I interpret as a text message or email.
Okay. Okay. Deep breaths. Months ago when the teaser PV was released, it was already causing a stir. “What..... what is this song? The lyrics are so...?? Are we allowed to listen to this song?!!!???” People were scandalised. I mostly enjoyed the soft electronica and appreciated Hama Takeshi’s way with words. Rings made of the sun? What a beautiful interpretation of the solar eclipse!
Now, having heard the full song, I am SHOOK. I read the lyrics while the song played and by the end of it I legit said out loud, “Oh my god.” And then played the song again just to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating. I know Tsukipro tends to play the queer-baiting card (a common and frustrating occurrence in animanga, but that’s a whole other story), and this might just be a love song addressed to the general public with a non-specific “you”, the way most love songs are. But everything about this song, from the sensual electronica to the soft broken vocals, and the goddamn lyrics full of desperate pining and eye-fucking and other non family-friendly activities??? Plus the mention of “children” in the very first line????? What other conclusion is there to draw from this???!???!!???? Goddamnit Tsukipro if you want to make them canon please just make it official and stop the fujoshi queerbaiting akjhgfdlkadldkh

Tonight’s SideM 4th Anniversary livestream on Nicovideo brought us a DELUGE of exciting news but can i just scream about this PV for the bluray of 3rd Live Makuhari Days 1 and 2!??? I SMASHED the pre-order button the day it was announced haha but srsly pls let me re-live my memories from that wonderful time;;;;;; I remember yelling myself hoarse as recorded in my event reports earlier this year but to pick at the PV:

In a nutshell I love how this drama CD shows QUELL’s progression both as performing artists and as a family. It warms my heart that the four of them have complete trust in each other. The twins are growing so quickly and always giving their best ;_; Makes me want to be a better person too. And Eichi. Dear, sweet Eichi, the kindest soul in the world T_T ilu

I am loving what I’m hearing so far!!!!! I'm really glad that Hama Takeshi returned to atmospheric electronica for this song, which, for me, defines QUELL's musical identity, and is what made me fall in love with their music via their first album T_T And going by past experiences, it’ll only get better in the second half. The lyrics are gorgeous too. “If I am to be bound to you, let us exchange rings made of the sun.” Adfjkg;ajg PLEASE. Can’t wait to hear the full song ><
