I probably wasn’t able to convey it properly, but shy readers might relate to the struggle of addressing someone who is otherwise engaged, in a public space :P
Among other reasons, this page took so long because panel’s 3 and 4 layout called for somehow correct perspective for the classroom desks. I tried to do it by hand and failed miserably. I ended up making a 3D model of the desk and the camera in Blender to get it right, and then I traced it :P
Story-time is over!
Sorry if this one is too tightly packed: I just need to get the story moving, or the next iteration of mlp will end before I finish this! ^^'
I haven't figured out how to post from the phone, let me know if there is anything weird :P

Nocturnal Flight and Cocoa Blizzard from @ask-the-owl-ponies. Not very active at the moment, but they never left officially... I always loved the design of the owl ponies ^^
Thauma Disk from @ask-thaumaturge-pony. Thauma’s design is amazing (it took forever to draw her!). It’s a pity her blog seems to be pretty much dead. There was an interesting, kinda dark story going on there.
And Billie’s parents, from ask Billie the kid. This was one of the first blogs I ever followed, and possibly my biggest inspiration to make my own pony blog. I loved the art and the characters, it broke my heart when the mod left and nuked her blogs overnight. The good news is that @c-chell saved most of it in their comic database and you can read it right here.
Big changes are coming. Stay tuned! : )

I tried to guess Romancedy’s first reaction. I’m just sorry I didn’t do her justice. It’s frustrating when your hands can’t keep up with your imagination… I hope next time it will turn out better ^^’

Backgrounds are my personal nightmare! I gave up and did this one in Inkscape using Romancedy’s Mod’s as reference ^^’
By the way, for those of you who miss Stargazer and Nightshade, next post will be the next page of the story. That’s NOT to say the arc with Romancedy is over. In fact, I really hope it’s not ; )
I’ve had this sequence stuck in the back of my head for months! I´ve been intrigued by Bellesia’s character since I first saw her in @missromancedy’s blog. I love the contrast that comes from her condition and her personality, and she is so different from my boy Pencil that I’ve been meaning to make him stumble upon her ever since >:)
Let’s see where we get from here ^^

Sorry for the unplanned hiatus. The last several months have been crazy. But we are finally back in business!
Our little adventurers are still on their quest and meeting interesting ponies along the way. Our guest stars for this page are:
Ayasha, from @ayasha-the-pony, who belongs to @elbdot. One of my all-time favorites pony blogs out there. It’s been finished for years now, but the gorgeous art and the cute stories are still worth your time if you haven’t checked them yet.
Flint, Cygnus, and Evergreen from @ask-thecapricorncrew, who belong to @bluebrush09arts. That blog is, like this one, struggling to keep going. Here is hoping it will regain its pace again: the art is great, the story seems deep and there is an ever-growing cast of interesting characters!
I couldn’t make the perspective work with the layout for the last panel and I ended up making a simple 3D model to figure it out. I kinda like how it turned out.
Still attempting to do new things with the page layout. I think this time it turned out too messy, but it’s too late to fix it now :P
I hope I’ll be able to regain my pace as well ^^’. See you soon! (hopefully! :P)

Traveling further away from Canterlot, meeting interesting characters along the way! Stargazer used to be easily puzzled by unusual ponies/creatures. Reminds me of Pencil. Nightshade can get quite inquisitive when she wants. The guest stars for this page are:
The lovely Ikle Muse and the awkward but always fun mole-pony Mudpie from @ask-ickle-muse (modblog: @ask-ickle-mod). I'm always amazed by the gorgeous art of this blog, and there used to be unusually deep story-arcs. It seems there won’t be more adventures for them in their current form, but it’s been one heck of a ride. I would have like Pencil to meet Mudpie. That would have been fun!
The changeling-in-disguise Doppel, and his unaware diamond-dog friend, Starfish, from @mylittlechangeling (modblog: @undecidedlark). Another blog with beautiful art and interesting characters. I love the story so far but, even if it hasn’t ended officially (to my knowledge, anyway) it hasn’t updated in a very long time. I’m not losing hope yet!

Part 2 of 2 of my art trade with @manny-mg
First part is here
We decided to each draw something and then the other person would colour it. This time I’m the one who drew the lineart and they coloured it.
I really like the colours they chose and the cool looking background. I’ve also never seen my lineart coloured like that, I usually keep it one solid colour and then just colour small areas differently, so that’s interesting to see.
I’ve never done an art trade before, and this was really fun.
I put the colors on this one! I really like the pose: it's pretty cute and definitely in-character. Unlike @typhwosions-pony-art I'm a clueless coward when it comes to colors, so I sticked to the character's palette ^^'
Lots of fun with this one as well. Interacting with artists is always interesting : )

It was definitely a challenge, I’m not used to using such thin lines. Also I know her eyes are green, I was using a pallete and I wanted to stick to it and there was no green in it. But it was fun colouring something so different from my usual style.
I did the lines of this one!
I love how the colors turned out. I think they fit the character pretty well. The palette has a warm mood to it, like fall, or a sunset. And the textured shades are pretty cool, too!
It's also the first time I do this kind of art trade. It was a lot of fun : )
